Comments:

The A6 body was extremely durable, and a strong passenger cabin safety frame was well protected by passengers, including youngsters. However, those who are outside, pedestrians, designers did not pay due attention.

Front punch:

When hitting the body, it suffered minimal deformation, and the driver's door after it managed to open without much effort. Two-stage airbags and pretensioners are associated with seat belt load limiters, as well as a strong body structure retained the load on the chest and the driver's legs at a low level.

Security of passenger children:

Front passenger airbag can be disabled manually. Also for a long time it can be done at the dealer of the company. In any case, status is displayed on the dashboard and the center console.

Side strike:

The protection system for lateral shocks included side pillows and security curtains that protect the sedams of both rows. In this part of the test, the car scored the maximum number of points.

Pedestrian safety:

Pedestrian protection turned out to be extremely bad. Only two points at the top of the surface of the hood provided some softening of adult heads and a child. The bumper and the front edge of the hood turned out to be very effortful.
