Suzuki Grand Vitara XL7 2004 test drive - 2006 SUV
Widely open eyes
New XL-7. So. The Japanese again took up the old. Well, relatively old. The off -road flagship was again modernized and earned every right to appear on the pages of our magazine for the second time this year. Well, as they say, if so, then okay. The main changes outside. Rather, so: on the outside. In fact, they made a faslifting in its pure form except for the design of the front line, nothing changed in the appearance of the Grand Suzuki. In principle, photographs do not need comments, because new headlights, a radiator grille and a bumper are noticeably different from what was. A more impressive look found a chrome bar, separating the false radiator and hood, and now a resemblance to the Liana model is found in the appearance of the machine. The head optics, wounding up, made the car outwardly a wider long -drawn SUV this goes. But in general, the grace is unlikely to increase the new person, although this is an exclusively difference in tastes. The bumper, by the way, have stamping for fog, which, however, was deprived of. And the touch to the portrait of the new XL-7: the top model is equipped with sixteen-inch wheels with discs of special design on any Suzuki.
We recently described the salon of new Vitar in the most detailed way, so we will not repeat. But there is still news, and they are all focused on the central console. From now on, the header of the audio system, mounted directly at the factory, may be located at the top of this (before the radio was not even in the list of options), and its footkeeper has a new -mounted electronic assault rifle lever. They also worked on the flagship engine, making it a slightly more powerful and moment. As a result of motor-transmissive perturbations, XL-7 became more dynamic as a whole and more haze with active actions of the driver in particular: KIK Dawn works faster and reduced gears are more promptly. With a calm ride, a new machine resembles its predecessor and works just as smoothly and delicately.
Take a look again in the photo. Now at the meeting you are definitely not mistaken: XL-7 is not just the largest Grand Vitara, but also the most important person from the Suzuki clan in general. The very leader is the most. And this is visible not only by skies, but also on the face is written.
The car was provided by Suzuki-Neva.
