Moreover, the trunk is not only large, but also convenient: a double bottom, two cross -member, sliding along the rails, for organizing the internal space, a lot of hooks and nets, as well as a lighting plafonel that is easily removed and turns into a flashlight. In addition, there is a sliding floor, as on the same E-Classe, an electric drive of the fifth door and a curtain that automatically shifts along with the opening of the door. But this is from the category of options. It is nice that Superb Combi, unlike just Superb, has not only the back, but also the seat pillow. The same floor still does not work, but still the step is not too large. But there are no spots or doctors at all only the reprimatum.

In the back seat, even more scope than in the sedan, because the roof is higher here, and no less space. But, alas, additional amenities are reduced only to the clock, an ashtray, a cigarette lighter and foot stands that are installed on the rugs. Well, although there are blowing deflectors in the central racks. And heating the rear seats in the conditions of Russian winter does not look superfluous. By the way, the upholstery of the seats is both just leather and combined. The latter will be more comfortable in the cold and better holds with active driving. But Combi flaunts a panoramic hatch of two halves, and the front part opens. Aerodynamics at a height: even at a speed of 130 km/h the wind only slightly fiddling the hair on the crown, and the noise does not exceed a comfortable threshold.

The rest of the station wagon is identical to the hatchback. The same gamma of engines, the same boxes (6- and 7-cent-lane robot DSG or 6-speed mechanics), front or all-wheel drive with a halDex fourth generation. If I were a buyer, I would dwell on the version with the 1.8 TSI engine and front -wheel drive. The diesel and V6 is heavier, which worsens the handling, which was unexpectedly interesting for this large station wagon, and the suspension is tougher on the packet of the Italian mountain paths sometimes shaken. It is noteworthy that this motor is the most popular for Superb in our country.

The start of sales in Russia is scheduled for May next year. Prices have not yet been determined, but it is hardly worth it to expect that Superb Combi will cost as much as the usual Superb, because the station wagons will not be produced at the factory in Kaluga.
