However, taking Scenic to a long test, I did not count on love at first sight or a bright romance of a resort type, which is easy to spin with some sports kupe. No, I needed strong, reliable relationships of a completely different order. And the qualities of a purely host, businesslike, family car from this Renault turned out to be a flood.
For the start of French CD-VEN, I liked the more than well-thought-out driver's seat. Landing is not too vertical and at the same time higher than in the usual passenger sedan, which greatly helps with city maneuvering. Good and visibility back, despite even massive rear racks. Well, the option parkantronics with visual-sound indication solves the problem even in the most confusing parking cases.
From the part it seems that Scenic has a rather tangible road clearance, at least clearly more than 120 mm specified in passport data. And this is not an optical deception. The clearance is really quite decent, and most importantly, the bumpers are suspended high enough, so Scenic does not cling to the lower jaw even the most busy curb stone. In the conditions of a big city excellent quality!
These are undiscusing, but really comfortable chips in the arsenal of French monosplay in prosperity. You can stay a spacious sofa for a long time, where and the three adults are not close, or excellent noise insulation, and the trunk with the widest possibilities of transformation is a real miracle. I drove twice with Scenic on vacation with the whole family: first at the sightseeing tour of Peter, after Valdai. And both times with difficult-hidden pride glanced at the friends of the owners of sedans and hatchbacks, which were looked, not knowing how to attach all tourist skarb in their cars. On the contrary, Scenic, not distinguished, by the way, with giganic dimensions, is ready to burn the contents of almost a whole truck!
