Mechanical orange

They say that the name largely determines the essence. Conquest translated, but it sounds more serious than it really is. The Reno-Bench remains just a family mini-wan. Nevertheless, okay, a tailored off -road suit is fit for him. An optimistic reddish-orange color, practical wide rubber moldings on the doors, aluminum decor on fanned unpainted bumers and luggage relings. All this resembles a more expensive sporting uniform than the conqueror’s military uniform.
 

There are no revelations in the interior. Having settled in a cozy seat, I notice the little things inherent in this particular version. All seams on the upholstery of the seats and the steering of the steering wheel are prostrated by red, in the color of the body, thread, rubber rugs are decorated with the conquest logo, and on the black plastic of the front panel thin wave -shaped orange lines. Otherwise, everything is both a civilian machine: a huge supply of space both in front and behind, a myriad of drawers and secretaries, many options for transforming the salon. From her, the newcomer inherited excellent visibility, which is spoiled only by tiny side mirrors.
 

The character of a two -liter motor is rather calm than fighting. A leisurely riding allows you to enjoy silence, the buzz of the engine penetrates the salon only at high speeds. I did not like to work as a clutch pedal: it was suspended too high, in addition, it is very difficult to catch the moment of closing the discs. And you have to switch often. Six short-cut gears create a feeling of energetic acceleration, but they are forced to constantly move the jajest pen on the tide of the central console. An attempt to make a lush did not deliver any pleasure by the wayward pedal does not allow to quickly twist the shutter. But it was worth moving off the asphalt, where the speed and dynamics were low, as the drawback became inconspicuous. Even in the city, the car pleased with a good suspension, conscientiously practicing cracks and pit in asphalt. She fenced the riders from the vibration on the paving stones, absorbed the waves on the highway, and did not allow unnecessary rolls in corners. Not all SUVs can boast of such flexible, predictable behavior on rough terrain.
 
The limiter of the possibilities outside the asphalt lack of all -wheel drive. Does it need such a car? After all, the owners of the SUVs are much more important than the road clearance and small overhangs. And this has a conquest.
 

With some regret, parting with the car, I realized what its name means. He is not a conqueror, rather, juicy mechanical orange is welcome and appetizing, also spacious and convenient. He knows how to arrange for himself. My sympathies are already on his side.
