In the city, the average fuel consumption with a 1.6-liter sixteen-plane turned out to be 11.8 l/100 km. Notice, with maximum power of only 102 hp! This, for a minute, is slightly smaller than that of a much heavier and dynamic test Audi Q5 Hybrid. Moreover, fluctuations in fuel consumption on the temperature of Sandero do not depend. What is this talking about? Alas, about a low engine efficiency.


Of course, the advantages of renoshny engines can be considered the ability to digest gasoline with an octane number in the range from the 91st to the 98th. But, all the same, such a consumption of honor does not make such an honor. Motorists and arguments have something to work on. Of course, the old four -speed AL4 hydrotransformer automatic machine with a stupid algorithm for gearboxes also does not add. Want to spend less? Take the version with mechanics and the purchase will cost cheaper, and the fuel in the exhaust pipe will fly noticeably less.

By the way, about the machine. A few years ago, on other Renault models, problems could have arisen with this unit already with a run of about 80,000 kilometers. But now, with a number of constructive improvements, the number of failures has decreased almost to zero. The main thing that the servicemen is warned against is do not hold the car in traffic jams and traffic lights on the rise due to the inclined transmission with the brake pedal. The frictions of the first stage fails too quickly. However, this is a universal council that is fair for all machine guns.

The frequency of Sandero service once every 15 thousand or once a year, depending on what will come earlier. The cost of service is lower than that of Kia Rio 1.6 at, but higher than that of Hyundai Solaris with a similar power unit. TO-1 and TO-2 and TO-3 will cost 6600 rubles, but every fourth maintenance will cost 19,600 rubles. Why? Every 60,000 kilometers implies a replacement of the timing belt and its tension roller. But in Europe, the belt changes after 120,000 kilometers. Renault is insured, referring to the climate: they say, large temperature differences, they say, even on new machines, rubber gaskets fail. The belt is much more responsible. A cliff or slice of teeth leads to a friendly meeting of pistons and valves and serious expensive repair. The Russians are not afraid of anything who abandoned the proprietary guarantee and maintenance, according to experience, they may confirm that the belt boldly nurses the declared 120 thousand. However, we do not urge to ignore the recommendations of manufacturers.


The main advantage of the B0 platform on which Sandero, Logan, Duster and Lada Largus are built, simplicity. You should not be afraid of bad roads: the engine is protected by the basic steel protection, all the highways of the brake system are carefully worn out of sight. To do it will be cheap and not at all angry. Many owners are limited to the replacement of engine oil and filters, and the chassis is checked from case to case to case. And then all that you need is 4.8 liters of the treasured synthetic fluid with a viscosity of 5W-40 and a pair of filters, which can be found at a price of 200 rubles.

We went to that without waiting for the regulatory 15,000 kilometers. Changed motor oil and filters, shake the chassis. Bones and joints are ball supports, tips, silent blocks, shock absorbers and racks in perfect order. For 15,000 combat test kilometers, the angles of the installation of wheels have a little sailed. The parameters within the normal range, however, for order, the convergence was nevertheless adjusted. The operation for the officials costs not so expensive 1300 rubles, although the public service is still cheaper. The collapse angle and the caster of Sando/Logan are not adjusted, which is not quite cool. If, after a good pit or a small accident, the installation parameters of the wheels will be exposed, they will have to be exhibited already on the slipway, pulling the body to control points, and this is not cheap and anti -people.


An interesting detail became clear. Despite the fact that the installation of a salon filter on Sando is not provided, dealers still offer to do this. After the minimum alterations, the filter is calmly installed in the standard box of air intake, which approaches the Renault Modus and Clio. Work on modernization takes a minimum of time and for different dealers it costs differently, on average, it turns out about 2000 rubles. For a regular paper filter, you will have to add another 1,100 rubles, the coal will cost about 1,400. If you are mainly traveling around the city, the second is preferable, health is more expensive.


Is it worth buying Sandero if there are many rivals around? If you drive bad roads and, in addition, you want to save, then, of course, it is worth it. Prices for French hatchback begin at 348,000 rubles. Kia Rio hatchbacks (at least 479,900 rubles) and Hyundai Solaris (from 443,000 rubles) are closest to it in terms of cost and positioning. An empty base Lada Priora will cost 325,000 rubles. Test Sandero with a 1.6-liter sixteen-plane, automatic transmission, a pair of airbags, ABS, cast discs, music, heated seats and electric grinders in metallic color now costs 501,500 rubles. Priora is cheaper than 425 400 rubles, but it does not have a machine gun in principle. Rio and Solaris in similar executions will cost 509 900 and 522,000 rubles, respectively.

However, if you bake about your safety, it makes sense to look towards competitors with more durable and modern bodies. At the trials of Euro NCAP Sandero received a rating of three stars, and this is even before tightening the techniques in 2010. In addition, the design of our experimental, unlike competitors, does not provide an optional adapa with lateral airbags and systems that control longitudinal and transverse dynamics. The maximum that can be installed on Logan/Sando, a couple of frontal eirbags and ABS.
