It so happened that the last three years I have been traveling to Renault Logan. He is good or bad a question of not this material. But in one thing I always took the side of those who were against my choice: Logan was not enough configuration with an automatic box. How many thousands of buyers turned away from this car in favor of others, one Carlos Gon is known. And now they waited: both Logan and Sandero got an automatic machine. A sort of autumn call. And let the machine gun for two, still this weapon, and what, what, actually? Maybe in vain those who dreamed of such a car have rainbow dreams on him? Maybe it makes no sense to overpay for a box filled with dextrone, 34,000 rubles?
I sit behind the wheel with genuine interest. It is unusual somehow in this car to feel not three, but two pedals under your feet. Muscle memory makes itself felt, and before turning the key in the ignition lock, out of habit, stomping my left foot to the floor. Okay, nevermind. The starter screeched, and the sixteen -valve motor pierced the pistons. Everything can be touched. The selector to the position D. went. The first sensations are probably the most sharp. But somehow it does not burst from feelings. I was simply rid of the need to switch the programs, but otherwise everything is as before. Acceleration is not aha, of course, but at the level. The programs are switched almost imperceptibly, and to spur Sandero, if anything, is not much difficult. The pedal to the floor, the box instantly falls from the fourth gear to the second, and this hated truck, which, under the cover of a continuous, ruffled the nerves for so long, is already behind. Not bad, very good for a four -speed machine. But there is also the possibility of gaming in manual mode. Moreover, if you, for any reason, forget to add the next gear, the machine will do it for you. And that's what is interesting. In automatic mode, only modes of operation are displayed on the instrument panel. And in the manual also the numbers of the programs. So to observe which transmission at what time is turned on, you can, as they say, online. But that's not all. The machine is equipped with a winter mode. Press the corresponding button and if you are standing, the car starts moving from the second gear, thereby preventing the slipping of the drive wheels on the slippery coating. And if you move, then you should release the gas pedal, as the machine begins to slow down quite effectively with the engine. Which is also important in our conditions.
It is quite tolerable with this box and fuel consumption. Nine liters this figure appeared on the monitor of a route computer after 100 km of run. It is not very similar to what is declared by the manufacturer, but there is no decency beyond the boundaries. It is probably not worth it to throw off the accounts that we took the car completely not running up: at the time of the start on the odometer, it was only 20 km. So, he still rolled out, and it is likely that the promised will come true. In the meantime, the main thing came true: in service Sandero, and at the same time Logan, an automatic machine appeared. And the machine, I must say, is adequate.
Driving
The four -speed automatic box is very adequately controlled by the torque of the engine.
Salon
The trunk is not too happy. To transport something larger, you will definitely need to fold the second row of seats.
Comfort
Sandero inherited from Logan a pendant phenomenal in energy intensity and surpassed it in terms of noise insulation.

In the maximum configuration, 2 airbags and ABS.

It is quite comparable with the price of competitors.

Our opinion
It seems that with the appearance of the Renault Sandero on the market with an automatic gearbox of potential buyers, this model will have even more. The target audience will expand significantly at Renault Logan. It is a pity that this happened only four years after the start of the production of such a folk car.
