Based on economic reasons, the rejection of excellent Scalolas SCENIC RX4 and Kangoo 4x4 in favor of this Koleos SUV is the right solution. In an effort to achieve the best dynamic indicators, the French gave Koleos a special character: he is comfortable, functional and masterfully copes with off -road.

The body and equipment of Renault Koleos immediately bring the car to the leaders: the trump card of the salon ability to transform. Tall and rounded Koleos as if saying: sit down, there is enough space here. The cockpits of competitors in spaciousness are almost identical, but relative to the back of the cabin, the luggage compartment and, most importantly, the Nissan transformations are behind.

The rear seats Koleos'a can form an even surface, the angle of inclination of the backs is adjustable, in addition, the back of the front passenger seat is also folded (starting with Dynamique configuration). So lovers of convenient transportation of their luggage will be truly touched by the talents of the Frenchman. Qashqai is unlikely to offer anything in response to such a variety. Convenient chairs, low noise and, above all, amazing smoothness of the move in this class of cars deserve a separate praise.

This is not to say that Qashqai is very ignorant in terms of comfort, but with direct comparison with the Frenchman, he looks much less convenient. In addition to firing in chairs, here you will have to face very small rear seats.

It is unlikely that in the case of Nissan, we can talk about some kind of supernatural dynamics on the highway, but it breaks forward significantly due to the smaller weight. In addition, Nissan’s fuel consumption is half a liter less, which ultimately provides him with victory in this test. But there is one general drawback of both candidates - a low trailer load (the limit for them is 1,350 kilograms).

Dynamics
Sometimes driving along a winding highway is a pleasure. With Nissan, this is more often observed.

Already when leaving the garage, Koleos does not look in the best light: Qashqai is noticeably more vague than Renault Koleos. While Nissan plays playfully, slowness, slight swaying and tangible influence of obesity are observed in the Koleos movement. Although, in general, between us, this is not a vice at all. In any case, the calmness radiated by Renault is no less pleasing than the dexterity of Qashqai. These are just two sides of one medal.

But the case takes a serious turn when it comes to assessing the level of security, for example, about the insufficient rotation of Koleos. This quality leads to the fact that when the pedal of the gas gas, the car’s feed can sharply jerk to the side. Criticism should also be subjected to a significant rocking of Renault when passing a snake, into the battle with which ESP prematurely and too unexpectedly enters. Separate censure deserve bad brakes.

On the finish line, the price becomes the price, and Qashqai is still a little cheaper than Koleos. In addition, Nissan also scores points for less cost, as well as lower maintenance and maintenance costs. Finally, the consumption of diesel fuel, registered with the Japanese during the tests, was half a liter less, which confirms his victory in the test.

Conclusion
As a result, Renault Koleos failed and received second place. No one will reproach him for focus on comfort, which, along with the ability to transforms and functionality, is the advantage of the Frenchman. But he loses this location to himself and the victory in the test due to miserable brakes and his capricious behavior on the road. The nimble Nissan captivates with a successful combination of dynamic qualities and all -wheel drive.
