A low center of gravity, excellent amusing and an acute informative steering wheel allow you to pass, exceeding the speed limit of ordinary mortals at least half. And at the same time, feel the car with all your nature (remember the childhood sensations when you move from the ice mountain not on the sled, but on the plywood sheet, and you will understand what we are talking about). It is worth only a hint of demolition of the rear wheels, Boxster S is instantly mobilized and holds the given course.
Provoking a slip of the rear drives during the start is a very difficult task. Even when the Boxster S traction control system does not allow you to idle, the engine energy is idle. Each newtonometer contributes to the implementation of torque - with a peak of 305 Nm at 4500 min -1.

And the existing manual regime, being activated, allows you to adjust the work of the transmission by literally one finger - by means of keys on the steering spokes.
No matter how responsive the machine gun is, the stereotypes of thinking interfere with the recognition of this type of transmission optimal for sports car. But only for the time being. In a traffic jam, with convulsive progressive movement, it becomes obvious that with the mechanics of the Roadster, the monstrous traction of which will have to be tamed with a clutch pedal, will turn into a tormentor.
The situation with the suspension is about the same. For a car with a hard native chassis, only a carefully verified route would be acceptable. Our Boxster S - with a Russified chassis - is sufficiently tolerate to the road doths and tram tracks. In addition, he has slightly increased road clearance, relatively an insignificant 95 mm clearance of the original. Therefore, if you do not talk about the extremes, Rogster can be recognized as suitable for Russian roads.
A compromise suspension almost did not change the positive qualities of its character: Boxster S does not roll in corners and does not peck with the nose during braking.
The brakes themselves, which are quite corresponding to the indefatigable temperament of the car, allow, if necessary, with lightning speed to besiege the heated horse. Monoblock brake calipers made of aluminum alloy have as many as four pistons, and in the brake discs, for better cooling and efficiency during rain, a perforated surface. In such brakes, a water film formed between the disk and the pad is destroyed much faster than in ordinary ones. A good anti -lock system complements the kit.

However, we are closer to a more neutral (not to say utilitarian) definition of the essence of the Rodster. Thanks to his ability to instill confidence in a person, we tend to consider Porsche Boxster S an excellent remedy for all kinds of stresses. Not at all cheap (the price of a car is about seventy thousand dollars), but extremely effective. By the way, recently, Porsche deliveries to Russia have been carried out in an official route.
