MCV-Logan is produced in Romania in 5- and 7-seater versions, with three gasoline or diesel engine and a manual box. The machine, kindly provided by the reader ZR Pavel Nosko, is five -seater, with a 1.6 liter gasoline engine with a capacity of 90 hp. I think this version will become popular in Russia.
Logan was collected, based on the price. Say, in Moldova, where our reader bought a car, it cost 9650 euros. Based on Russian realities, I am bet: our price will rise by at least one and a half thousand euros. So, the rivals of MCV will perform the most affordable in the class of the fiata-Panorama and Peugeot Partner.

Elonged up, like a teenager-accelerate, kind and reminiscent of a reduced copy of the Peugeot partner representatives of the classical cargo-passenger school. The unusual profile of Logan is recognizable even more: a purebred dachshund! Dacia is longer than a fiat by 197 mm, and Peugeot is as much as 310 mm. With the height of the bodies, the picture is reverse: Logan is below the fiat by 178 mm, so the Romanian machine is perceived as a passenger. Maybe everything will change when we look at the salons?
Fiat is huge in the first second. Very soon you understand: the whole thing is in the height of the salon. They never noticed how much more free you feel in a room with high ceilings, even if its area is small? But the first feeling quickly replaces the other area not so much. Yes, there are still 200 mm air above the head, but what are they needed for?
The threesome of the back of the back do not bring great joy: the body permeates the longitudinal tunnel that interferes with the average passenger. Yes, and it is habitual to lower the glass only you can not open the window.
The first seconds of acquaintance with Peugeot overshadowed the narrow opening of the sliding door, in which you have to squeeze into its place, composed of front seats. Like Fiat, the left back door to Peugeot is not provided. I recall long transatlantic flights: I just nailed on the spot at the aisle, as the neighbor asks to release it to refresh.
But, having endured the landing procedure, you feel only a little denser than in Fiat. In general, in the back seat, good and a partner can go to three adults. It is to go, and not get out for the sake of the experiment and at the first opportunity to escape, as I wanted to do in the case of Logan. Here, if a driver is 190 cm tall, you will have to squeeze your knees. Sloping the rear doors, extreme passengers get a tangible kick from the armrest ... No, not at all in the elbow, but a little lower.
As a result, we appreciated the back places of Datya and Peugeot the same, without forgiving the partner of the narrow door and counting Logan as the dignity of two side. You choose what to sacrifice: the legs for the legs or the convenience of entry-exit.
Pass the baggage
Access to the luggage compartments is kind and logan is identical: two asymmetric doors can be opened to 180. It is convenient if you need to drive as close as possible to the loading site. The partner is deprived of such a privilege, he has one lifting door, and hefty. Caution requires caution, powerful shock absorbers take it up with such abuse that you barely have time to take a couple of steps back. But in the open position, the door does not pose a threat to even very high loaders, and in the case of rain it will serve as a canopy.
Most of all the luggles will enter Fiat. During trunk measurements, we, as usual, recorded volumes to a shelf or grid. Choosing an epithet with a huge luggage of Fiat, he involuntarily crumble: Good hollow. Small loading height and 580 liters of beneficial volume take fiat into unconditional leaders. But the second and third places were distributed unexpectedly. The low and long Logan was at ease, it would seem, a more practical partner for 72 liters, but did not reach the Italian record as many as 92 liters.
If you expect rich transformation opportunities, you will be disappointed. The rear seats of all cars are folded in parts, but alas, it will not be possible to remove them.
Bring and not break
Looking under Fiat, he found behind the good old spring suspension. By the standards of the truck, the decision is logical. From the point of view of a passenger car, it puts a cross on controllability. But the assessment largely depends on what eyes you look at Kind. For a truck, he goes very well: shaking even more empty the car is small, the pedals are weightless.
The fiat used to the passenger car will seem obstinate. The light steering wheel turned a little stronger, the chassis rummaged sharply to the side, and after a fraction of a second, the body rolls. You are sitting on a soft, shapeless and slightly springing chair, like a trucker. And you wait, wait for the car to accelerate to a highway! The only thing Fiat surpassed the opponents of the most understandable and accurate brakes.
The partner fully justifies his name: behaves with restraint. Sometimes makes it clear: at such a speed I won’t go to the turn, but leaves a feeling of reliability. Now, at the sight of a rushing rebellious van, I am not surprised: the partner allows you to go actively. The body is lower and the tendency to the rolls is not expressed as brightly as Fiat. It is a pity that the motor is just as stunted: I am ready to slowly take it from 2000 rpm, but by 5000 it switches to a mournful, annoying and some kind of plaintive voice. The steering is more precise than Fiat with a good feedback. And the smoothness of the course of Peugeot is better.
But the most balanced Logan. If you do not look in the mirror, it seems that you are going on the sedan, calmly passing the turns in which on the fiat at the same or even lower speed the palm. We already had the opportunity to make sure: a 8-valve engine with a volume of 1.6 liters is not much better than a 1.4-liter. Now strengthened in their opinion: extra 12 hp. Slightly improve elasticity.
Well, now about ... ficus in the tub. According to one of the colleagues, this is the only subject for the transportation of which is required, like Fiat or Peugeot, a body. Even household appliances, as a rule, are lower, and the pickup of the two -chamber refrigerator is ungrateful. Then why fence the flowerbed? Judging by the many-month-old queue for the MCV-Logan in Europe and the great interest of Russians, consumers, like us, prefer indoor plants more modestly ...
Mikhail Gzovsky: Despite the record volume of the trunk of Fiat and a more spacious rear sofa of Peugeot, Dacia left the most pleasant impression. If the price of Logan MCV in Russia will not be sky -high, loud success is ensured.
