In essence, the above truth was confirmed six years ago - namely then, the ancestor of the new direction of the Stugeot Partner station wagons said loudly. Being by nature by his banal handling van, he dared to encroach on a wider scope of application.
 
The result exceeded the most daring expectations. Unusually spacious, compact, economical, simple and reliable Partner quickly won the hearts of those who needed an inexpensive multi -purpose vehicle. From the summer of 1996 to September 2002, 58,3900 such cars were produced.
 
At the last Parisian car dealership, the updated Peugeot Partner was presented (paired with Citroen Berlingo's half -brother). The car is overhaul. Changed front wings and a radiator grill, a bumper in an off -road style, huge eyes of a head optics and an increased hood line create a courageous image. The current partner looks much more decisively than the predecessor.
 
The model has preserved relative compactness - the length of the machine with a wheelbase of 2693 mm is a little more than four meters. But the height of the body is still sky-high, thanks to which the salon seems huge and filled with air.
 
There are five full -fledged places in the car; The trunk, to the envy of cars, is 624 liters. Having folded two of the three rear seats, we get a huge cargo compartment with an even floor and a convenient loading height of 570 mm. If the rear row is completely removed, a real hangar with a capacity of 2800 liters is formed behind the driver and his neighbor.
 
From the point of view of those sitting ahead, the car not only saved, but also increased its friendliness. For example, due to the rethought front panel, the accents of which are made on ergonomics, practicality, and safety. The instrument shield has become much more visual, and the new steering wheel decreased in diameter lies better in hands.
 
The central console did not just get prettier in appearance - it got cup holders and boxing boxers. Above the windshield, as before, is a duffel antiresol, and spacious pockets on the doors. The 60-liter driver's pillow and a 100-liter passenger are supplemented by two side.
 
On the wide soft chairs, the partner is sitting at home. The review, thanks to the huge area of \u200b\u200bglazing, is exceptional. By the way, when designing a new torpedo, much attention was paid to the lack of various kinds of reflections in the windshield. Indeed, not a single glare was found.
 
The previous engines: a pair of gasoline - 1.4- (75 hp) and 1.6 -liter (in our case 109 hp), as well as two diesel engines - a simple 1.9 (69 hp) and turbocharged 2.0 (90 hp).
 
With the launch of the motor between the car and the driver, partnerships are established. The car is ingenuous and honestly demonstrates what it is capable of. A light start, decent acceleration, confident even running - these are the foundations of her character.
 
Trying to portray the elasticity of the power unit, Partner will embarrass. So it is better to stick the desired program on time, the benefit of the lever of five -speed mechanics is supple and hunting before manipulations. One thing is bad - it’s short, you have to reach for it. But the suspension is noble - it swallows everything that is neither hit, and does not allow the body to roll too much in corners. The steering wheel is empty in the zero zone, although, if not to be at the same, it is fully consistent with this vehicle. The main thing is to keep the steering wheel stronger in strong winds, because the partner’s sailing is wow!
 
Brakes are solid, without fools, especially in a company with an anti -lock system, the presence of which, like other electronic assistants, depends on the configuration. By the way, the modification series XR, XS, XT and XT Pack reaches the peak of equipment in the Ushuaia Grand Raid configuration. Such a machine differs from others and appearance. And in the front -wheel drive transmission uses a differential of limited friction.
 
However, the exotic version is a topic for a separate conversation. As for the updated partner in general, it became better and without having lost the immediacy that determines its individuality.
