Of course, my polls and, accordingly, conclusions cannot qualify for representativeness. Since I talked with people on the occasion. But still I was curious to learn that the greatest sympathies of this car feed officials. Managers (young enough) would also not refuse to receive at their disposal TEANA, but inclined in favor of more compact cars. Well, and those businessmen who managed to speak, preferred Infiniti. But everyone gave the proper status of its appearance and a high level of comfort; And everyone said that the cost is still high. Well, now the Nissan plant is launched in Russia, so you can expect some price reduction. Then, I can assume TEANA thoroughly entrenched in the corporate sales market.Outside and inside
What TEANA does not take away, so it is a solidity in appearance. Her appearance inspires respect and in fact emphasizes the status of the owner. Evaluate the design of a special point. There is no car managed to take a damn on our roads. But to say that with all respectability in the exterior you can find both sports traits still stand. So, some elements are made in the style of a sports car 350Z, and the powerful grill of the radiator unequivocally hints at a good dynamic potential.
In the cabin you get, without getting the key from the pocket. After all, the engine starts by pressing the elegant button in the Infiniti style. Yes, and all the design of the cabin is clearly approaching the Nissan luxury brand. The light front panel looks just fine, and minimal gaps between its elements confirm the good assembly quality.
Before the driver's eyes, stylish scales with optimile backlight. This is a set of four informative dials in chrome edging. Under the speedometer scale, the trip-computer monochrome display, which you can withdraw various information about the mileage, fuel consumption, etc. It is controlled by two buttons to the left of the instrument panel, which in fact does not create any ergonomic problems. The leather and wood rabbar, except the cruise control buttons, provides the driver with the opportunity, without opening the hands from the steering wheel, manage the mobile phone and multimedia system, as well as study the menu of the main on-board computer. The control unit itself is borrowed from Infiniti. It is easy to understand the menu simply, although the control process requires a certain skill and addiction. But there is a full-fledged navigation system, and when the rear transmission is turned on, the image is displayed from the rear view camera. It is a pity that the actual parking sensors in the car is not. Therefore, in slushful weather, before parked by the feed close to something, you have to go out and wipe the chamber's eyes.
The audio system is located below. Here to handle it simply thanks to the convex and different keywords. Under them a block of two-zone climate control, which is equipped with an air purification system with an ionizer. In the capital's conditions, the system almost always works in recycling mode, which once again indicates the quality of Moscow air. But, according to the creators, the ionizer will clean the air from 90% of tobacco smoke.
Directly on the central tunnel, right under the massive armrest, a few more buttons responsible for heating and the ventilation of the seats, and in the box itself, the space for a 12V socket and the connector for connecting external audio and video devices.
The driver's seat is equipped with electric drives with very extensive adjustment capabilities. Therefore, it is not difficult to get a job in it, although I personally still wanted to make a ramp of a little closer to myself. However, it is possible to find a convenient compromise, and the seat shape itself is very successful. By the way, the front passenger chair, also endowed with all adjustments, is also equipped with a special stand under the feet of the Ottoman. In its lower part there is a retractable roller relaxing!
On the rear seats is spacious. Places for legs enough. Is that a man with a growing higher 190 cm can feel the limited space over his head. A folding central armrest shares the sofa into two comfortable chairs. It has a block of control by various systems. There is even a small liquid crystal screen, which shows the performance of climate control and audio system. Passengers can also independently raise the rear window curtain and activate heating and seat ventilation.
The trunk is quite spacious, although accurate numbers indicating its volume, and failed. Nevertheless, there is a special hatch for long, and only the height of the opening is not too large.
Components of comfort
In general, the external hint of the dynamic potential of TEANA is justified: the machines are supplied with one of two motors. Either 2.5-liter V6, developing 182 hp Either a 249th-strong engine of 3.5 liters. In the role of transmission, in both cases, the stepless variator Xtronic-CVT.
I started my acquaintance with the most powerful version, and after the first kilometers involuntarily noted the excellent insulation. Only with intensive acceleration into the cabin penetrates the sound of the power unit, in all other cases it is not heard at all. And with the dynamics of the 3,5-liter version, everything is in perfect order. 7.2 seconds and the speedometer is already 100 km / h. But that's what's interesting: TEANA does not have a crazy drive yet. Yes, the start from the place is confident and energetic. However, it is worth weakening the pressure on the accelerator pedal, as the transmission goes into a calm mode. And even if later, already on the go, they dramatically drown a gas pedal to the floor, the car will react to it with a tangible pause. In no circumstances in the back of the chair imprint, but rather gently puts it to it, and TEANA will start imposing the speed. In other words, the variator is somewhat thoughtful, but in this, believe me, there is its own charm. In the end, you can ride how quickly quickly, just everything happens smoothly, without fanaticism.
And the move is as smooth, what is the merit of the D-platform. The same platform, by the way, is used on Murano and American Altima and Maxima. Hence the soft settings of the suspension, and in the turns of the casual rolls are very tangible. The benefit of the stability of movement is in no way affects. TEANA is perfectly holding the road, and in critical moments to help the driver will receive a stabilization system. It can be turned off, in this case, TEANA demonstrates typical front-wheel drive habits. Under the gas slides with his nose to the outward of the viege, and the dumping can go to the drift, although the trend towards slipping the stern is still insignificant.
Brakes are excellent. The effort is dispensed clearly, and ABS and other electronic systems will help you quickly stop the car on any coating. As for the steering, it is quite informative. The ram is noticeably heavy with a growing speed, and in the parking lot it can be twisted at least a little finger. In urban conditions, such settings are just right.
Having rolled down to the top version, I moved to a less powerful modification with a 2.5 liter engine. And I did not feel much difference. Yes, a little less dynamics and more, oddly enough, the sound of the motor inside. The rest are the same comfortable and not drivers. On the other hand, such a model as TEANA is a special drive and not required a few people waiting from the business class car. But comfort at the height, driving the Teana, you can overcome not one hundred kilometers, without feeling and hinting for fatigue.
It remains to say that prices for Nissan Teana 2.5 begin with a mark of 985 thousand rubles, and the most accessible 3.5-liter version will already cost at least 1,303,000. As for the cost of maintenance and prices 1 km of run, then you can learn about it from the tables.
