Even despite the absence of longitudinal adjustment of the steering column, it was not difficult to sit down to hard. Wide side mirrors provide an excellent review, and their adjustment is carried out from the driver's armrest on the inner handle of the door.
So: the acquaintance of Lancer with a new motor for himself, but the engine known to us (the engine crossed from the same Dodge Caliber, who shared all of them from the World Engine series). One of the advantages of the new motor is dynamics. The difference in acceleration with a 2.0-liter version is only 0.7 seconds in favor of more in volume. This is in a dispute of cars with variators. And with the mechanics, a 1.8-liter sedan is already for 0.7 seconds. Faster than the 2.0-liter Lancer with the Invalid CVT. As for the maximum speed, it differs by 8 km/h (1.8 and 2.0, both with CVT) and both cars go far beyond the permissible ones on the highway ...
In addition, the new motor is saving. Prices for cars in the same interpretations Intense CVT with engines 1.8 and 2.0 differ by 56 and a half thousand rubles. That is, approximately for the annual cost of OSAGO and CASCO policies! Moreover, the 1.8-litrovik is noticeably more economical than version 2.0: in the mixed cycle, the difference is half a liter, and in the city cycle there is even a liter per hundred!
And to top it off the list of the advantages of the new engine - the petals of manual switching fictional speeds of the variator. Aluminum petals are pleasant to many modern motorists. Useless for dynamics, but incredibly interesting in terms of car control: can everyone switch the speed without tearing his hands away from the steering wheel?!
FOUR-WHEEL DRIVE
The all-wheel drive is equipped with a Lancer X with a 2.0 l engine (150 hp), a 5-speed manual transmission or a variator. The transmission is a multi -mode all -wheel drive transmission ON Demand 4WD with electronic control and automatic rear -wheel drive connection when slipping the front wheels. The chassis of the Lancer 1.8 is like a half -liter. Increased road clearance and the same elevation above the road by 165 mm. A successful set for driving on bad roads: it is on uneven and at times damaged asphalt that you understand the advantages of a comfortable oriented suspension. However, these are not all its advantages: Lancer confidently stands on a straight line, firmly and decisively performs the slow routine restructuring. In other words, in full -time situations it is very good. Another thing, emergency cases when it is simply not enough, for example, when a layer of good asphalt is found no more than a kilometer of path. And then even an incredibly energy -intensive Lancer suspension ceases to delight with comfort and requires reducing the speed of movement almost to pedestrian.
Lancer 1.8 The car is strategically correct. It is cheaper, more economical, more comfortable than modification 2.0 and at the same time faster and more spectacular than the basic 1.5-liter version. So all of his 143 horses will certainly be in demand.
