Only when braking, the computer takes care of the transition to a lower step. In short, the transmission is configured quite competently.

The engine thanks to the branded system of changing phases of gas distribution has even characteristics, guaranteeing confident movement in any situations, although it exhibits its fighting character after 3500 rpm. Then there is noise in the cabin. However, the speed is well heard and rustling of tires, and tapping suspensions on the crystal. But there is a certain plus: potholes and irregularities of the road canvases are heard, but not felt. And in the turns of Grandis behaves well done, not allowing unnecessary rolls and demonstrating good stability. Designers as much as possible lowered the center of gravity, which, along with a long wheelbase, makes a car little sensitive both to the waves on the asphalt and the side wind.

In general, I had to taste and setting the steering. Perhaps, for a fan of an active ride, the ram and will seem not sharp enough, but, the right of the word, this is the minivan, and not a sports unit. Meanwhile, the hydraulic agent allows you to rotate the wheel at least a finger when parking, and at high speeds, it provides quite acceptable informativeness of the steering wheel as much as waiting as much as you expect. The girls gave high gradis rating in the six-seat version and the maximum configuration of Intense Sport.
