This helps them, at least, not be unfounded when discussing national racing stars. The AMG tuning studio has been offering customers to customers two in one for practical people with brilliant eyes. To the anniversary (this year AMG turned 40 years old), the Germans loaded the already peppy C-Klasse. They didn’t even spare the station wagon.The household C-Klasse Estate debuted on the Frankfurt salon, and the Mercedes decided to combine the test of this strong business executive with charged C-versions. Like, feel the difference. So first a couple of words about Estate. All the advantages of the new generation Ts are maintained: three configurations (Avantgarde, Elegance and Classic), the ability to install the Agility Control package and as much as eight engines to choose from. And practicality and comfort (strategic direction of the company) are beaten over the edge: if you fold the rear seats, the luggage capacity will increase to 1,500 liters. At first glance, this is just a figure, although we are talking about a record: now you can shove a box of the largest car in this class in this class: 1465 x 943x 599 millimeters. What would it be compared with? Let's just say: these are two medium -sized washing machines, or one and a half refrigerator of the Saratov. In the commercial, for example, a small bath and a mysterious box appeared. And now we recall that AMG engineers also charged this family cargo car. Therefore, there is a new record, which German automakers forgot to mention. Nobody has yet dispersed a refrigerator, bath or washing machine to hundreds in 4.6 seconds. There was not even a chance to try.
Moreover, in the AMG version, not only the accelerated characteristics have been preserved, which lost only one tenth seconds compared to the sedan, but also luggage bonuses. For example, in addition to standard nets and partitions, you can order a special telescopic bar to distinguish objects. Actual, I must say a thing, especially if there is a site without lying and standing policemen on the way from the supermarket and you will want to tackle. In principle, you can bother with a trailer, the car can tow a cart weighing up to 1800 kg, and it will monitor the course stability of the entire road train.
And here is the device from AMG. It is felt that the standard Mercedes tuners are increasingly difficult to keep up with the conveyor in recent years, the brand has been shaking off the image of conservatively. Now even the buyer of a large-scale version can receive an evil sports muzzle for his money (which is called aggressive and muscular in press releases), a suspension with a sports regime and a solid choice of engines. For example, the 2007 C-Klasse has eight of them. That is, now you need to surprise in a large way, for example, stick a 6.3 liter engine with a medium-sized engine of a middle-class V8 engine and a capacity of 457 horsepower. Of course, there are also external differences, although they are not so striking to the ordinary consumer. Huge (36 cm in front and 33 cm from behind) brake discs in the arms of sparkling calipers with AMG letters. The same letters are on 18 -inch wheeled wheels and on the wing already supplemented by engine volume. The shape of the front diffusers has been changed, and the surroundings of the road aggressor of the stack on the hood, gills on the sidewalls of the bumper and the side spoilers are completed.
By the way, inside to the offensive, there are few signs of added cool of the AMG letter on the threshold and rugs, a speedometer, marked up to 320 km/h, storm with a hidden bottom and seats with integrated head restraints. Although the gearbox configured in the AMG does nothing superfluous: switching into sports mode occurs 30% faster than in the usual, and in manual by 50%.
The standard C-Klasse equipped with Sport Agility Control has a SPORT button that changes the suspension settings. There is no button in the version from the AMG, the machine initially sits hard. Although Mercedes is a Mercedes stool in the full sense of the word, he does not become, even when moving along the German paving stones. Instead of the Sport button, three ESP operating modes. In addition to the standard, there is a mode that does not blow the engine with drifts and the position in which the electronics, in addition, does not brake the wheels when losing the clutch. Just in case, the switch returns to its original state when the brake presses, otherwise you never know what.
The brakes stop the accelerated one and a half -ton colossus so that the eyes come out of the orbits from the habit. To emphasize the emergency of braking, the belt-pretext is triggered, and the stop-signals begin to blink, but this is the usual C-Klasse. In terms of efficiency with the brake system, only the Germans themselves can compete, missing the last days of Oktoberfest: in the middle of the village of Harbies of impressive sizes, the girl blocks movement and requires urgently give her 2 euros (tax on continuation of fun) or join the company.
