Mazda turned out to be a nice minivan! Alone, with slender outlines. However, it is not surprising - the company has a complete order with the company's style. In addition, you expect from a car that is characteristic of Mazda of honed driving characteristics. However, the new Japanese minivan is not strong in them first of all.

However, he is not so Japanese. The car is based on the joint platform Ford and Mazda, on which the second Focus, and Mazda3, and Focus C -Max are built. Good genes. However, the novelty turned out to be quite original. Her highlight, in addition to harmonious appearance, is shifting doors. Neither give nor take the Japanese Cesam (remember the Peugeot 1007?). True, here you will have to work with your hands. In general, for a car, the main purpose of which is economic, such a solution is ideal. The doors are extremely convenient to handle, and they look good.

The interior is restrained, without other novelties of elaborate solutions. The devices are read well, the landing is comfortable, almost car, but a little higher. For visibility - five. Materials of the finish at the level. The Mazda5 salon can be both five -seater and seven -seater. However, the second option works only if the number six and seven are occupied by children, adults will be uncomfortable there.

The variety of transformation is pleasing. For example, the second row can be made strictly double, and a convenient table with cup holders will be located in the middle. The middle pillow in this case is hidden under the left chair, and the Box table is extracted from under the right. You can arrange a bed by decomposing the front seats - it turns out a completely flat surface. It is even possible to switch to the third row without getting out of the car - you need to turn the armrest, and the passage will be released. Real transformer!

A well -known two -liter four with a volume of 2 liters, with a capacity of 145 hp, comes to life inside the motor compartment. In the movement, the motor is quite noisy, the arches are also clearly heard, which gives reason to assume that the Japanese again saved in noise insulation. Raising the trunk rug, I am convinced of my innocence - mats from sound -absorbing material are only in the most necessary places. But the budget was enough to introduce a fashionable function of non -clock access and the start of the engine from the button.

In the movement, the car presented a small surprise, being comfortable to a greater extent than configured for a quick aggressive riding. Even Ford Focus C-Max, I remember, behaved more lively, his manners were closer to the cars. In turns, Mazda5 is tangled significantly, and if you overdo it at a speed, it floats out of the turn. Feedback on the steering wheel, however, is distinct, and, even despite some imposition, the car is well controlled. I definitely liked the brakes - tenacious, effective. On a straight line, the Mazda5 is stable, does not go astray from the desired course - lovers of protracted march shutters will probably appreciate this.

Three more engines are offered for the machine, of which only one is decided to supply to the domestic market: the company will be a 1.8-liter gasoline unit with a capacity of 115 forces with a 2-liter motor. Well, we can once again regret us, because the other two diesel engines are simply magnificent. Especially two -liter, with a capacity of 143 hp. And with a huge moment - 360 nm. Not bad. Rather, the same, but deformed up to 115 hp. (The moment suffered much less - 310 nm). But the gearbox is offered only one - five -speed mechanics. It is strange that for the family -owned vehicle there is no way to order a machine.

The Japanese plan to sell about 100,000 Mazda5 per year. We are sure that most of these cars will settle in Western markets. In Russia, distrust of convenient and practical minivans has not yet been completely broken, although the prerequisites for this are observed. In large cities, such cars are increasingly found. The popularity of the Mazda brand is high, and perhaps the new one will have to be new; One way or another, it turned out to be a very competitive representative of his class.

Detailed information regarding prices and configuration for our market has not yet been made public. We must wait for the beginning of the next year, when the first cars appear in the dealers salons.
