However, it will not be possible to enjoy the new capabilities of the stove to the fullest: designed for other placement of the driver in the cabin, it serves a lot more heat to the left part than necessary. It is impossible to hide from the hot air flow, because the right leg, squeezing the gas, tightly adjacent to the central tunnel, and the air nozzle is located right above it, and the heat in the ankle -heater makes it constantly turn on, then turn off the blowing. Making it is cooler the first time it will not work too incredibly the switch works.
By the way, a powerful climatic system, with the help of which you can not only catch up the heat into a huge salon, but also quickly cool it in the summer, is not the only change in the updated SUV. The central console, although it looks like a pile of incompatible style solutions, undoubtedly became a giant step forward for Defender. From now on, in terms of comfort, it does not lag behind other cars. There is a CD magnet, which in improved trim levels can not only read the MP3, but also connect to I-POD. And in general, absolutely everything that on the road needs to have at hand, control of the rear wipers, light, electric windows, windshield heating, designers, designers fit in a torpedo about 25 cm wide. And notice, a real power, rather than a decorative handrail was preserved for passenger. Both the front and rear seats became much more convenient, the front seats are equipped with heating, but the range of horizontal movements and the angle of the back of the back remained very small, so do not dream of completely decomposing the seat on the long journey. And a thick huge steering wheel does not have a single adjustment at all. The electronic gas pedal also has features: it compensates for the lack of revolutions under load, which, on the one hand, helps not to stall, but on the other, with too smoothly working, adds gas. At first, it scares strongly, especially when there is very little left before the reducing car. However, you will quickly get rid of the habit of smoothly squeeze the clutch. The MKAD riding with its wild ruts in the asphalt, oddly enough, also does not cause difficulties: the Defender does not react to the ruts, and even in a configuration that is not equipped with stabilizers of the anti -resistance stability (they go as an option). In the turns, the car is filled with no more than any other high jeep, and the dynamics allows you to stay even in the extreme left row, if the flow rate does not exceed 120 km / h. Electronics limits the speed of the machine by 140 km / h along the speedometer. But even in the immediate vicinity of the limiter, the possibility of overtaking is preserved. In addition to the ABS and the anti -boom system that replaces the interference of inter -seamy differentials, there are no electronic assistants in the DEF, so it is better to be careful with sharp braking at the floor at maximum speeds: it can be pulled out of the same asphalt rut at a time, so keep the steering wheel tight .
 
Comfortable speed of movement along the highway is about 130 km / h, but you can also drown under the limiter. In the sixth gear, the turnover does not rise above 2.5-3 thousand, so you talk, without raising your voice too much, and the roar of the motor does not overlap the stereo system. It is worth moving out of the road, and Land Rover Defender will refute any idea that the standard car on a serious impassability that has developed before meeting him. There is no need to immediately go with the new traction capabilities of the engine and a well -working electronic anti -wax system that replaces mechanical locks of inter -chisel differentials. There is enough traction to move in a deep rut! The transmission has four modes: a constant full -wheel drive, on a low and two similar, but with a blocked interderser differential. This time, there were not enough possibilities of universal rubber, she quickly blurred, and, helplessly slipping with all four wheels, the car froze in place. I had to unfold right in the stream, at the same time drove along it and across it to clean the rubber: Defender, although it does not swim, but thanks to moisture protection, even without a schnorkel, is practically not afraid of hydraulic boards.
