Without driving a kilometer from the Russian representative office of Chrysler, which provided us with the white handsome Jeep Wrangler in the extreme version of Rubicon, I immediately get into a traffic jam on the third transport. Wrangler easily overcame a rather deep ford. The design of the front bumper allows you to effectively accelerate water so that it does not fill the motor compartment.
As it turned out later, the test Wrangler was one of the latter who tried on a 3.8-liter engine. Now on ranglers put a new Pentastar six of 3.6 liters with a capacity of 284 hp. This motor is significantly more powerful, more responsive and economical than its predecessor. But whether this will lead to a consensus with an automaton remains a question.
Having failed at overtaking, Jeep Wrangler was noted with good track stability. At cruising speed, a high SUV almost did not require steering and ignored the rut. But no one was waiting for a buzz from driving on the asphalt. The element Jeep Wrangler is soil, sand and dirt. It is worth moving out of the civilian road, and already at the first meters you notice how easily it goes through the primer, not noticing either sticking cobblestones or small potholes. Where an ordinary crossover will crawl 40 km/h, the rangler will easily go a hundred.

Jeep continues to amaze with its stunning burden, confidently climbing up even after stopping in the middle to make a couple of spectacular shots. On the way back, we check the effectiveness of the assistant descent from the slope. And here the rangler did not fail, crawled from the slope as a real climber, without demanding the intervention of the driver.
The lion's share of the trunk is conceived by a soft roof and a subwoofer. After updating, chrome elements appeared on the central console. SUV control keys are now located under climate control. Next to the automatic transmission selector is a lever of all -wheel drive transmission. Three modes are available: rear -wheel drive, all -wheel drive and all -wheel drive with a lowering gear.

Jeep Wrangler overcame the remaining trials with a clear margin, one by one forcing steep descents and ascents, playfully versed with diagonal hanging and without grazing in a deep rut, where almost sitting on the Jeep’s belly still crawled forward, biting a tread into the ground. There were no problems with the ford either: the front bumper Wrangler cuts water well, preventing moisture from entering the motor compartment. In addition, the relative unpopularity of Jeep Wrangler, even among recognized lovers of Off Road, is caused by a price that starts from 1,695,000 and reaches almost 2,000,000 rubles.
Already now, dealers have cars with a 2.8-liter diesel engine and a new Pentastar gasoline six-liter with a capacity of 284 hp. The old 3.8-liter engine disappointed with slurred thrust on the asphalt and high fuel consumption.
For example, the base Land Rover Defender, which is in no way inferior to the jeep on the road, costs half a million less.
