New car engines of 2010 model year are the subject of special pride in Jaguar. So, the 5-liter AJ-V8 Gen III engine develops a power of 385 hp. And the torque is 515 Nm, which is 26 and 23% more respectively than that of its 4.2-liter predecessor. The 5-liter power unit AJ-V8 Gen III R installed on the models of the XKR with a supercharger produces 510 hp. And torque 625 Nm by 23 and 12% more than the previous option. Such indicators of all representatives of the HC family, along with a low weight of a light aluminum body, provide excellent dynamics. Unlike the previous version for the XK model with a hopeless engine, the acceleration time to 100 km/h decreased from 6.2 to 5.5 s, and for modification of the XKR with a supercharger from 5.2 to 4.8 s. XKR cars, equipped with a supercharger engine, have impressive efficiency: the average fuel consumption is 12.3 liters per 100 km, which is significant progress compared to the parameters of the previous XKR model.
In addition, the new CC differs from the modification of the past generation by appearance. When creating both coupes and convertibles, an original body design was developed, emphasizing the modern nature of Jaguar design solutions.
The interior decoration has become even better due to the use of fresh ideas corresponding to the exquisite image of the Jaguar brand, as well as numerous accessories that give the interior additional luxury and sophistication. It will take such advanced technologies such as Jaguardrive Selector and Adaptive Dynamic, active differential control, heating and ventilation of the seats, modifications of the new HC line not only differ in improved technical characteristics, but also provide the driver with an even higher level of driving comfort. The range of HC includes three versions of the configuration for compartment and convertible: XK, XK Portfolio and XKR. Each of them has its own sports character.
