Sometimes I want the car to be simply fast, beautiful and okay, without all this cargo of responsibility.The car, as, in fact, the brand itself, was invented for America, and this explains a lot. This is what a solid state action movie looks like - it captures from the first second and does not let go to the last. You leave the cinema - it is easy at heart, and your head is cleaned of business that annoyed you during the day. At about the same feeling, you slam the door of the compartment in the evening before the entrance of your house: minor troubles were with you only to the parking lot, and then they safely disappeared from the head at a speed of 5.9 s, which need G37 to gain a hundred.
The G37 compartment is a modernized version of the previous very popular Infiniti model in the North American market with the G35 index. By the way, reproaches in the absence of historical roots are not very legitimate, since the G35 is essentially the eleventh generation of Nissan Skyline. Well, if you close your eyes to the fact that with the legendary Skyline of the past the current versions of the model do not have so much in common: instead of in-line engines, V-shaped modifications and GT-R are not produced ... however, it was under the name Infiniti G35 the first Official Skyline appeared on the roads of the United States.
The key difference between the G37 and the G35 is already in the title: the volume of the V-shaped six was increased from 3.5 to 3.7 liters, so the power increased to 333 hp. The car became not only more dynamic, but also smooth in the speed set, of course, if you are not going to provoke jerks yourself. This is the merit of a new seven -speed machine. In the box of the previous model of steps there are five, and therefore acceleration was uneven. When translating the boxes to the sports mode of DS, the reaction of the car becomes more acute, pedal gas is more responsive, and the tachometer arrow does not fall below 3000 rpm. Like the previous model, the G37 has the possibility of shifting transmissions with steering wheel petals. It is convenient to control the latter due to their elongated shape and pleasant, because the wrong side of the petals is covered with skin. It is from such insignificant little things that the Infiniti premium quality is formed.
The coupe did not make a full -wheel drive by analogy with the sedan of the Gl. The designers rightly considered that it was the classic layout that should give the driver a special joy. At a sharp start, at wet asphalt on the dashboard, the SLIP icon flashes, signaling that the clutch of the wheels with the expensive is low. The situation in every possible way is trying to improve the system of dynamic stabilization. However, when you fall into the rut, which for some reason are sold in almost all leftists of domestic highways, it is no longer a joke. The appearance of the model has not changed if you do not take into account the new design of the front bumper, which, let's say, does not catch your eye. In the same way, you will not notice an improvement in the painting of the body, which is now covered with a transparent layer of varnish based on a high -elastic polymer that retains glossy shine and restores the paintwork after light scratches to an almost initial state.
In general, the changes that appeared on the G37 are similar to conscientious work on errors. It was as if in the Marketing Department Infiniti was not only all client reviews on the G35, but also the articles of other journalists. Do the front seats heat buttons look cheap? Here you are, please, the new design of these buttons. No electric mirrors in the premium sports compartment? Indeed, how it is! And then an electric drive appeared. The fuel tank is not voluminous enough, and have to call in the gas station too often? Well, we will increase it, albeit only 5 liters, but now you can take 80 liters of gasoline on the road. By the way, the appetite of the car is tolerable, the fuel consumption in the city did not exceed 11.8 liters per hundred, which is a good result for a motor with a volume of 3.7 liters.
In the Russian market, the G37 is available in two trim levels-Sport and Hi-Tech. Thank God, not one of them provides for the decoration of the salon with wood - only aluminum inserts are offered with a characteristic uneven texture of the traditional Japanese paper of Vasya. The salon in this style looks sports and technological. An analog clock with an oval dial - hello to Maserati - and an American parking brake included by the pedal look a little alien.
