Let us leave the issue of forming the auto producing the model range itself, supplied to certain countries. However, in any part of the world there are many people who want to buy not what is, but what you want. The market does not tolerate emptiness, so unofficial dealers appear on the stage that supply exotic cars to Russia and, by the way, exist quite to this. Moreover, many of them do not just sell such cars and forget about them forever, but offer almost the same list of additional services as official suppliers. That is, both a loan, and even a guarantee with service in branded technical centers. And to a modern person who wants to stand out from the crowd, to show his style and taste, only this, in principle, is necessary.

This small introduction is inspired by plans to oblige all importers without exception to receive certificates for all imported cars without exception, which in the case of Infiniti brands or, say, Acura is quite difficult to provide. Is it really not enough for the Russian authorities that these machines have passed the full cycle of tests, and their safety can even be called several excessive? Or do our environmental requirements plug the laws of the American state of California, glorious by its struggle for the purity of the environment? It seems to be no. In general, the question is partly rhetorical, but it is not difficult to find answers to it. This year, for example, the deficit for new foreign cars became especially noticeable (see AI No. 12 (36), 2003). And the gray dealer has almost always. Come, pay money and leave on your own wheels.

However, back to the car. So, in front of me is the Infiniti G35 sedan. In principle, I read the tests of this machine in many Western publications and was in full confidence that I have to ride an analogue of the BMW treshka at least, it was with this model that he competes in the American market. However, I was a little alerted by the size of the car. The fact is that both in the total length and in terms of space in the salon G35 are rather perceived by the opponent of the Bavarian five. Only now it costs somewhat cheaper. Probably, it was from this stove that the journalists there were dancing.

What is the drive here?

Perhaps the most vivid impression of the G35 is the dynamics that he possesses. Judge for yourself, 260 stallions of the B6 motor, hidden under the hood of a very compact sedan, allow the driver to exchange the second hundred on the speedometer after 6.1 seconds. That is, the car is faster than many serial classmates, if you do not take into account extreme versions like Audi RS6, Mercedes with AMG nameplate or EMKI from BMW. Automatic checkpoint brings considerable assistance in accelerations (without it, the car was created with an eye on the American market), the gear shifts in which, even in Kik-Dawn mode, are almost invisible as if this is not a box at all, but a stray variator. To be honest, this is one of the most advanced machine guns with which I had to deal. Its control electronics is configured with an eye on the sports style of driving, and therefore, when changing the ranges of the engine, the engine speed is practically not reduced, and some miserable passes through time. It feels even less than required to blink.

Well, well, with overclocking everything is more or less clear, but how are the brakes? All at the level. Disk mechanisms installed on all four wheels easily besiege the sedan at any speed, and it is a pleasure to act. The pedal force is verified with surgical accuracy, so it is as easy to control the slowdown as in a computer toy: I clicked the virtual machine on the button almost immediately. Having played enough with the dynamics in the city, my colleague and I decided to go free, where you could accelerate to maximum speed, and at the same time evaluate the comfort of the chassis. Having set up a chic tape recorder Bose to a calm wave, we went to the high morning in the morning. Somehow, completely imperceptibly, the chiseled acute speedometer arrow approached 240 km/h. And we chatted serene, without even raising our voice. Yes, sound insulation in this machine is clearly not inferior to more eminent competitors. The only thing that was slightly annoyed was a slight knock of suspension from the move of the holes, which, however, did not affect the exchange rate stability of the car.

The car writes turns, as if on patterns. It seems that you are driving in a car with a full or front -wheel drive, although in fact it was created according to classic canons: the front engine leading the rear wheels. The Nissanists designed very complex independent pendants in front and behind, providing the machine with confidence in high -speed turns. There is no shadow of fear of breaking the rear drive wheels into the movement, regardless of whether the asphalt or wet is dry under them. When the street is slippery on the street, the driver is insured by the branded VDC stabilization system, which, if necessary, slows down the slipping wheels or slightly strangles the engine speed. As usual, electronics can be turned off with an inconspicuous button, but I would not advise doing this. Firstly, a pity expensive car, and secondly, it was not created for extreme rally.

The contributions placed almost in the corners of the wheel body are contributed to comfortable movement and stability. It also allowed the Japanese to free up a place under a short hood of a car, where a rather big V6 climbed in, and in the cabin, where almost representative comfort was provided to the rear passengers. The rear sofa itself is slightly raised compared to the front seats, the legs for the legs are more than enough, and the back can be adjusted along the angle of inclination, however, manually. In general, you are going, as if in a upper class model. Such associations also evoke doors that open very widely, almost 90 degrees.

As I already said, the Infiniti G35 was created at the peak of the Bavarian threele (although, I repeat, in size, the car is closer to the five), which is considered almost the ideal of the so -called Driver's Car car for the driver. Therefore, it becomes quite clear that the Nissanists also paid a lot of attention to his workplace. Planting behind the wheel beyond all praise, ergonomics have been worked out to the smallest details. The adjustments of the seats are so great that even with a height of more than 180 cm I managed to push the chair so that I did not reach the pedals. By the way, all electric drive movements are controlled from unusual levers that are not on the side of the seat, but at the top, a flush with a pillow. And they must be downloaded back and forth, and not press. The right hand lies on the machine -adorned machine -decorated by a tree. Exactly the same inserts on the inner handles of all doors.

A thing in yourself

In general, Infiniti G35 amazes with its non -triviality. Agree, rarely recently you can find a car that has bright charisma and a whole set of non -standard solutions. Plus a hatch in a cargo compartment behind the rear armrest, which also has its own lock. So it turns out that the trunk can be closed so that not a single robber will reach him. Along the way, by the way, I found that the rear armrest is not at all simple. On the side of it there is a completely incessant recess, covered with a leather door on Velcro. If you do not know about him in advance, do not find forever. Well, as for the fact that the first thing that came to my mind will fit inside this shelf. No, I do not urge the resolution of weapons, but tell me what else can I hide it there? Book, notebook? Well, maybe so. Finally, I had never before I had to see a special compartment for storing an anti -radar in the cabin, and even with my own outlet. In the G35, it is located at the legs of the front passenger and is almost invisible outside.

Perhaps the only thing I have not mentioned yet was design. Also, by the way, a thing in yourself. The fact is that the creators of the machine were repelled from the image of a catamaran, a sea vessel with two long parallel buildings. If you do not believe, take a look at the pictures: the central part of the hood is much lower than the edges. And what are the headlights, coupled with rear lights, the form of which Infiniti experts traditionally pay a lot of attention? And this car is to the maximum safe with its eight pillows, amplifying bars in the doors, an emergency system for helping, bright xenon headlights, rain and outdoor lighting sensors, allowing the wheel to be distracted to include dimensions and wipers. Returning to the very beginning of this material, I want to ask a question and that, does this car requires additional Russian certification and cannot be sold with us without it? After all, it is produced for a much more stringent US market, where they have already managed to check it in full.
