This is exactly what I immediately noted, for the first time when I saw the new CR-V-v in the fall on the Paris Mondial, more vivid and stylish, more dynamic and sports. Well, maybe she is not sophisticatedly beautiful, as they are beautiful, for example, a compartment, after all, the style is not the same, but damn attractive.

Of course, the new Honda brand crossover is not at all so simple constructively as in its practical and very democratic essence. This is a modern car equipped with appropriate technical filling. It is enough to mention the innovative automatic automatic system of the Real Time 4wd all -wheel drive, which it can be equipped and which provides faster acceleration and rise on a slippery and snowy surface, a more confident start, passing turns at speeds and active maneuvering. The work on modernizing the suspension was also aimed at this. However, all this and much more is already known for last year's tests of the 2-liter version.
 
This one car was not enough when exactly a year ago she came to Russia, character. The fault was just a 2-liter engine with a capacity of 150 hp. Then the only possible and frankly weak for a car of this type and, moreover, with such a fervent (or aggressive is it as you like) appearance. And now, under the hood of this beauty, there is something more adultery than a 2.4-liter motor. Due to this, the power has not increased so much only to 166 hp, but the torque has increased to more noticeable 28 Nm, despite the fact that 80% of its maximum value is reached already at 2000 rpm. As a result, the new CR-V went. The speed records to her, however, are still too tough: 11 seconds of overclocking to a hundred and the maximum speed of 190 km/h is not God the news that. I could probably have been faster. But it, as they say, does she need? Another thing is important the motor began to pull confidently and demonstrates magnificent elasticity, which makes riding this Honda, albeit not super -dynamic, but extremely pleasant. The car acquired proper organicism.
 
A new, more powerful version of CR-V is proposed exclusively with a 5-speed automatic gearbox, which interacts with the engine, again, quite organically. To the question of why, in accordance with modern fashion, it does not provide for a manual gear mode, the representatives of Honda present at the presentation reasonably answered another question: how often, objectively, it becomes necessary to use such a regime if the machine gun is already the machine He fulfills his own well function? And then it is true throughout the entire length of the Drive and laid on the highway and on city streets and country road roads of a 50-kilometer highway, in general, I had neither such a need, nor even a special desire to switch the transfer manually. Automatic transmission is really pretty good in combination with a new engine: the algorithm for its operation allows you to keep its speed in the most effective range and, accordingly, effectively control the car through traction in addition to a very interactive and sufficient acute steering control.
 
Night controls are also good: the accelerator pedal doses the gas supply very smoothly and accurately, allowing the motor to demonstrate its high elasticity in all its glory, and the brake the pedal is equally transparent and provides intuitive interaction with brake mechanisms. The car stops exactly there and so, where and how you wanted to stop it. But to stop him, too, special hunting is not painfully traveling in comparison with a sleepy 2-liter version. On light off-road and snow, CR-V is also easily and relaxed. That's just shaking it quite noticeably in it, including the irregularities of asphalt. But the harsh suspension is a reasonable fee for good handling. In addition, this little trouble is more than compensated by exclusively convenient sports seats, from which, as they say, I do not want to get out. Well, and the picture ends the picture surrounding these seats. The salon space here is beautiful, stylish and also very convenient.
 
In a word, representing the novelty under the slogan the evolution of the leader, the Hondians, perhaps, were not exaggerated.
