This car has long become a familiar sight on our roads. Tourneo Connect and his freight brother Transit Connect work in fleets of banks, courier offices, television channels and even traffic police regiments. But how is this pretty heel suitable for operation as a personal car?

To someone like, and personally to me the appearance of Tourneo Connect is very much like. The machine does not look lost, unusual and very attractive. Outwardly, it is not easy to suspect a businessman in it, but the salon is purely business, but not too comfortable, immediately sets up on the labor wave. At my disposal was the heel in the rich configuration of Trend, with all possible options, but even such a lampyled version left a feeling of increditedness. For example, the expensive musical system in Tourneo Connect does not understand the MP3 format, the heating buttons are extremely inconvenient, and the ignition key here with an unwritten sting. You will not find anything like this today either on Focus or Fiesta, but, apparently, Ford believes that such trifles should not worry such trifles, and even more so the owner of the fleet.

It is logical: the businessman is much more important for freight opportunities and economy. In this regard, Tourneo Connect is good unconditionally. Even the minimum volume of the hold is impressive 650 liters, while your disposal remains a full -fledged five -seater salon. The large door pockets are also pleasing, as well as the solid sizes of the regiment-coat under the roof. But Tourneo Connect also has a long -drawn option, even more spacious

Good and turbodiesel. The path of the 1.8-liter four is noisy, but it pulls perfectly. Sometimes it seems that the car does not give a damn, which transmission is currently turned on, the motor will pull out in any case. At the same time, the car is very receiver in the movement, and the factory 13.2 from the acceleration to hundreds seem an annoying typo. Not a good Tourneo Connect and on the highway, where it confidently accelerates to 160 km/h, and most importantly, pleases with quite reliable behavior. Even in the most aggressive version of the drive, fuel consumption does not exceed 9 liters, and if pedaling is carefully, you can meet 7-7.5 liters per hundred.

In general, for a month of life together, Tourneo Connect left the most pleasant impression. An economical, roomy, and not creating headache car. Of course, in terms of comfort, convenience and partly safety, it is inferior to cars primarily compact and mini-wenes, but it could be closed with their eyes, be a more adequate price. However, with all its advantages, Tourneo Connect is too expensive. Even the basic version costs 963 thousand, and the car that has been on our test is more than a million. In this situation, the popularity of the machine in the private sector will be extremely limited.
