The prototype was named after the Italian auto designer Alfredo Vignal (1913-1969), a serious person in the history of the brand. So far, two basic gasoline (1.6 liters, 100 hp and 2.0 liters, 145 hp) of the Duratec engine and one Duratorq diesel (2.0 liters, 136 hp) are installed on the convertible. Subsequently, for the most demanding customers, a turbocharged 5-cylinder engine 2.5 l with a capacity of 221 hp will be offered, as on Focus ST.
