With the phrase of the manufacturer, Cruise looks more expensive than it costs, I agree one hundred hundred car resembles a well -assembled designer. Outwardly, the sedan is harmonious in everything, the headlights elongated in front and behind, impressive sizes, noble colors say: I am spectacular, daring and in fashion. Wheel disks are offered in two sizes of 16 and 17 inches, however, the second are designed for top -end configuration. The tested car stands out the same as in the sedan, pointed by the front headlights, which look very impressive and evoke respect, but the rear-buttons-buttons lose the sedan.

Inside Cruze is made in the traditional style of C-class Chevrolet: pleasant and inexpensive. The interior is designed in light colors, leather comfortable seats can easily be tuned to a driver’s height from 160 to 200 cm. At a three -spoke steering wheel adjustable in height, the skin is also soft to the touch, where you can control the musical accompaniment, however, answer the phone call using the steering wheel not It will turn out.

On the front console there is a small display with traditional blue backlight, which also illuminates the Chevrolet inscription on the sides of the front seats. What is missing is the brightness on the heating for the front passengers: the light is so modest that I initially doubted the serviceability of the devices. Another flaw of the interior compartment for the phone, which is located in front of the gearbox. When position R, it is impossible to get a mobile from there. The cigarette lighter is carried into the lower part of the console, he settled in front of the compartment between the seats and does not corn the eyes of non -smoker car enthusiasts. In the compartment itself, a miniature ashtray and a USB input for charging a phone are hidden, during which it connects to the car audio system.

In general, Chervrolet likes to save on the rearview mirrors: they are so small that only an experienced driver can feel the rear dimensions. However, the situation is facilitated by the parking sensor, which is present in the maximum configuration. Mirrors in sunscreen visors are also not ideal there, there is no light, and it is extremely difficult to fad the nose to the front passenger.

Cruze is ready for transporting children: in all versions of the model there are fasteners for children's seats and a seat belt indicator. The driver's door provides a special button that blocks the opening of windows on the rear doors.

If in front you can adjust the places to almost any growth, for the rear passengers there is not much space if you are above 180 cm, it is better to ride next to the driver. But the viewing angle due to the high landing and large lateral mirrors are excellent. A small nuance these very ears are only handful. The trunk accommodates 413 liters with raised rear seats and 883 liters with folded.

The radius of the turn allows a rather big Cruise to maneuver in Moscow traffic jams, and in the yards, and travel in a dense parking lot. The six -speed machine most successfully demonstrates its abilities on the highway at constant speed, but when overtaking it stubbornly did not want to switch to a low gear. The suspension at Chevrolet Cruze received an excellent rating. During the test, the car felt the charms of the lack of rain plum, but with dignity drove a couple of kilometers knee -deep in the water. For its incomplete 4 months, Cruz skated more than 11 thousand kilometers and decided on appetite. In the mixed cycle, gasoline consumption was 9.7 l/100 km, on the track about 7l/100 km. Such modesty plays in the hands and saves on current expenses for the car, but what about prices?

The most budget version of Cruze Hatchback is cheaper than the sedan 562,000 rubles. For this money, the buyer will receive 4 airbags, a 1.6-liter engine with manual transmission, heating of the side mirrors, an on-board computer, a power steering, ABS. For the same engine with automatic transmission and the price of 639,400 rubles, the buyer will get air conditioning, a leather salon and heating the front seats.

The most expensive options from 734,000 rubles for mechanics and 769,000 for the machine-include climate control, 17-inch wheels, cruise control, 6 speakers and a chrome radiator grille. The maximum engine volume in Russia is 1.8 liters. Two -liter and diesel can only be bought in Europe, and it would be a pity that they would find their customers.

Competitors
Where without them?! In my opinion, the most serious competition of Cruze will be the brand new Ford Focus III, the prices for which will start with 532,000 rubles (1.6 manual transmission, 85 hp). Also among competitors Kia Ced from 549 900 rubles (1.4 manual transmission, 109 hp), VW Golf from 612 000 rubles (1.4 manual transmission, 80 hp), Renault Megane from 589,000 rubles (1.6 manual transmission).

Summary
Chevroler Cruze successfully got on a par with cars of his class, this can be judged even by the number of these cars on city streets. This is not to say that it is better or worse than it is the same as everyone else, but thanks to the appearance on which the main bet is made, it stands out from the crowd. And the ratio of price-quality, which remains the main thing for the Russian consumer, did not go unnoticed. Looking into a near future, I will allow themselves to note great prospects for Cruise and in the back of the station wagon, which will appear on the Russian market at the end of this year, but this will be another story
