Recently, the desire of people to classify everything that exists, and cars are no exception. But Cadillac SRX hardly fits into the accepted scales of assessments.There are many such persons in the world, over the separation of which the nature did not have for long, I did not use any small tools, somehow: files, bruscles and other things, but just chopped it from my shoulder: I had enough times - I went out my nose, grabbed the other - my lips went out, my lips came out, my lips went out, She picked her eyes with a large drill and, not slipping, let her into the light, saying: she lives!

The appearance of the culprit of the celebration was unexpected. This event made him choke with a cigarette and pronounce the first interjections on inhalation. Attempts to express the impression of the normal Russian language stumbled upon the problem: two opinions settled in my head, it was difficult to choose from an objective one. One half of consciousness said: a luxuriously trimmed American suitcase. The opponent proclaimed: there is, of course, lightness here. But should Cadillac be elegant? It is hardly: the chopped edges form exactly the image that expresses the essence of this prestigious brand. One thing is indisputable: the car has a pronounced character and individuality. It can be accepted or rejected, but it is simply impossible not to notice.
Under the angular hood - gasoline V8. I do not want to talk about his abilities in numerical terms. The old Rolls -Royis formulation comes to mind: engine power is sufficient. Marvelous! A massive car is easy to climb and always, as attached, follows the sensitive and informative gas pedal. By the way, the pedal unit is equipped with an electrical adjustment of the longitudinal movement: one movement with a joystick, and the pedals approached. This circumstance reminded that in America, not only uncles with big hands ride on such cars, but also dry old women tall meter. We can hardly meet a grandmother while driving, but miniature ladies may well be here at the helm. So, the concern for the convenience of management is not in vain.
Along with the granted electrical adjustments of the seats, the car is equipped with a rare option - an electrified trunk transformation into passenger places. Huge hatches in the roof, which are difficult to reach, are naturally servo. Adjusting the steering column - manual, simple, for five provisions, without depreciation and other modern benefits: you release the blocking of the chosen position with the lever, and the steering wheel falls to your knees. However, there is no inconvenience of this, obviously, the designers decided not to impose unnecessary financials to the buyer.
The road was primarily surprised by the European information content of the steering, combining with its American lightness in parking modes. Among the brothers in the workshop of large SUVs (where the SRX can be attributed to, judging by his clothes) Cadillac is the winner in this nomination. Management does not require addiction, intuitively, convenient and reliable. The machine is characterized by excellent resistance in direct and maneuverability.
Sounds filling the salon of a moving SRX create a special atmosphere - the car makes the impression of a living creature or machine in the old good sense (steam).
The reckoning for good controllability, as expected, knocked from below, from the suspension. Forget about the flight over the road characteristic of classic Americans: in the new Cadillac, every stone that fell under the wheels is felt by riders. There is nothing to be done, the main suspension compromise has not yet been canceled. On the other hand, the car is much more comfortable than any real SUV, so we got to the denouement of our meeting.
You still did not have any thoughts about what kind of SRX car and why did it come to this world? Last hint: there are no locks here: ordinary, moderately thoughtful, smooth machine with manual gear function. By the way, it is unlikely that you have to use this opportunity in the presence of such an engine: the car is easily accelerated in any situation - at the moment, at the power, it does not matter.
Yes, we have a typical modern crossover. True, in American - i.e. gigantic sizes. To the world experience of creating such models, figuratively speaking, they used zoom, as a result of which SRX was born. Management, approaching a passenger, enlarged clearance to overcome any cut-off and dividing stripes, inappropriation to the assault on serious off-road and weak protection from below (one of our colleagues who tested the car earlier, managed to get a radiator to some stone)-all signs of a crossover) on the face.
So, a new niche is busy with the company. Cadillac SRX is perfect for today's owners of heavy SUVs used exclusively for moving around the city. The novelty, of course, is strongly not recommended to leave asphalt, but it is an order of magnitude more convenient in driving and comfortable. The remaining advantages of full -sized SUVs are evident: large capacity, additional passenger places, high passive safety level and complete indifference to omissions of road services. Again, the owner of the owner from such a change is unlikely to suffer.
I liked SRX. Its concept is so successful that it falls into the category of reasons, which, it seems, has long been lying on the surface, but in order to formulate them, the years of the evolution of cars were required.
