Suzuki Swift (Swift Suzuki) was a twin hatchback Chevrolet Metro, however, equipped with a more powerful standard 4-cylinder engine, which on Chevrolet performed only as an option. The second generation of the model appeared in 1995. In the ratings of the most economical cars, SWIFT served one of the first positions. Model was produced in Canada and Japan. In 1999, the US Energy-Efficient Economy Committee called SWIFT among the 12 most "green" cars.
