The updated Tiguan was introduced in early March at the Geneva Motor Show. Previously, the adaptive chassis of DCC (Dynamic Chassis Control) was placed on golf and its derivatives. Now it is on Tiguan. I have the car just that. With the DCC, the crossover rides completely differently than with the usual chassis. And all thanks to the two -pipe shock absorbers OHLINS, equipped with remote compensation tanks and electromagnetic valves that change the cross -section of the passage channels.
The nature of the suspension is set manually, in total three Sport, Comfort and Normal modes are provided. The most collected and responsive Tiguan in the sports regime nevertheless, regardless of the selected modes of DCC, is still conjured with stiffness. The system, thanks to vibration attitudes and sensors of the body position, monitors the nature of the suspension. Depending on the conditions of movement and the quality of the roadway, it appropriately adjusts the stiffness. DCC interviews the sensors a thousand times a second. And on the basis of the received data using electromagnets, it changes the passage cross section of the valves through which the shock absorber fluid passes. The resistance of the shock absorbers changes both on the course of the compression and during the end of the end. Tiguan received several interesting auxiliary systems.
