Toyota Verso test drive since 2009 minivan

New Versia

The new family suitcase of the Toyota MPV class, according to the creators, should become a symbol of an active lifestyle, demonstrate the continuity of the creative enrichment of the company's model gamut even in the conditions of the global crisis.
The second generation of Toyota Verso said goodbye to the base past of the C-class, recovered in width and length, acquired in a Japanese dandy appearance, and most importantly, an extensive internal space, where each centimeter is called to fully please the driver and passengers.
The new Toyota Verso base is greater than the ancestor for the MPV family of Corolla Verso, for 30 mm. For the driver, the surprises begin literally at the wheel: the instrument panel shield is now shifted to the center of the part of the a la Citroen.
A similar solution is also found in Toyota Yaris, but how pleasant this surprise is, different opinions have to be determined. When driving a car, in search of a speedometer arrows, they fall directly behind the helm, but there is empty. What is not a reason for irritation? After all, the power of the habit of everyone is different. But this non -traditional detail brings unusual futuristic strokes to a rather ascetic interior design.
Along with large spaces, the indisputable dignity in the layout of the Toyota Verso salon is a lot of all sorts of niches, drawers, pockets and hidden cavities. The Japanese tried to glory so that every trifle needed in the journey with the whole family found its place. For example, a pleasant surprise of a retractable boxing under the seat of the front passenger. The practicality here truly triumphs: the Trunk Management system allows you to quietly place your luggage under the luggage compartment. The container depends on the number of places (5 or 7) and on the spare wheel (compact or full -size).
The Toyota Verso management does not have an active drive at all: the suspension and steering settings are clearly not for gambling, but strong rolls interfere with lighting on the serpentine. But in normal mode, the car is polite and courteous: a clear informative steering wheel, excellent smoothness, worthy sound insulation.
The technical equipment of Toyota Verso proposes a number of new products: the characteristics of gasoline engines (1.6 liters and 1.8 liters) have been improved due to the Valvematic system to continue the development of the electronic system of gas distribution phases Dual VVT-I. In addition, VERSO is equipped with a new six -speed manual gearbox and a new unavailable variator of Multidrive S. For the first time for the European market, Toyota equips a minivan steering with a change in the power -imprisoner effort. If the system determines that the speed of rotation of the steering wheel does not correspond to the mode of movement of the car, it independently increases the effort in the helm, providing smooth movement. In addition, a torque sensor is installed on the steering column, with which vibrations on the steering wheel are reduced.
Like the previous model, the new generation of Verso is produced at the Toyota Motor Manoufactoring factory in Turkey. The car is designed specifically for the European market, where the demand for representatives of the MPV class is higher than in Russia. Our new minivan will go on sale next month.
