To the current Camry, the leadership in the class has passed from the predecessor. Indeed, a solid brand, good price, proven quality, even appearance can be called almost attractive compared to a terrible predecessor.
 
Nissan with large sedans was more launched. The past, sufficiently archaic maxim was supplied to us for a long time even after a fresh car of the same name has already appeared on the main market of this model. But for Russia, the novelty was not offered. And it was decided to supply the theater close in size to our market, intended mainly for the countries of the Pacific region and aimed at the satisfaction of oriental ambitions, respectively. Do we still have a way to the Pacific Ocean? Then go ahead! The solution is fresh and atypical.
 
Hyundai Grandeur is an obvious and, already one can say, successful expansion of the most successful in the Russian market of the foreigner. The car is an interesting and recognizable truth, more from behind than in front. We dedicated its advantages and disadvantages in the July issue of last year, the impressions are ambiguous, but at least not fresh ones.
 
One more new sedan from the east of Mitsubishi Galant could be fastened here, which almost reaching the dimensions. But for Russia, it exists only in version 2.4. That is, it competes with Camry 2.4 and Teana 2.3. But the purity of comparison with these top V6 is no longer. Therefore, in the next issue, we decided to compare it with the new Volkswagen Passat and read Superb Superb! In the meantime, meet the trinity!
DYNAMICS
All three are very dynamic. And I would say easy to rise, responsive. Pretty bulky solid sedans instantly break forward after pressing the gas pedal both from the place and from intermediate modes. But there are differences. Nissan has a chic CVT variator, which makes a powerful car elastic, like an electric locomotive. Moreover, even if it is evenly accelerated, the engine does not howl on one note, and the box imitates gear shifts. In urban conditions, Teana turns out to be the most frisky and the most smooth of all!
 
If it were not for the lag at the time of switching, the most powerful of the three Camry, maybe he would have made the main competitor already from the place. But her winning in dynamics is noticeable only closer to 100 km/h and further grows noticeably. A 6-speed automatic that spent extra fraction of seconds at the beginning of acceleration, does his work quickly, clearly and inaccurately. And you can slow down here quite actively.
 
Grandeur is noticeably heavier than the rest (and I like this savings at every gram is already tired!). And the motor is the least powerful. And despite this, Hyundai is almost not behind! Unless the jerks when changing the gears are harsh, but the box is climbing without delay.
From the point of view of brake dynamics, the Korean machine also surprised and pleased with the best executive mechanism. Thean is almost not behind. But Toyota is least willingly reduces the pace and squeezes more noticeably on the front wheels during slowdown.
 
Even at high speed, all three cars behave strikingly quietly either the noise of the wind or the engine timbre do not cause discomfort. But in this nomination, Teana seemed the most worthy to us.
CONTROLLABILITY
Here, each of the applicants is not impeccable. Yes, and is not sophisticated not drivers. The most empty, uninformative steering wheel in Toyota. American softness allows you to slip through small irregularities on the move. But large ones cause a noticeable tower of the body, or even breakdowns to limiters. The advantages are controversial, but they fit into the framework of the genre. Thean is a clear optimum. It is moderately comfortable and quite informative in the shocks that are transmitted to the body with a pendant and the body of the riders is flat here, but now the bumps have gone.
 
But in what Nissan loses is in the height of the landing over the road. The smallest clearance (125 mm) forces you to be ost-rowing not only during parking, but when traveling and broken sections of the road.
