And at the same time, Suzuki had only five existing cars (and at least two of them have official clones). Against the background of the same Opel and even more so Mercedes-Benz (the majority of readers of these lines will not remember modern offspring without cheatics) is nothing. In other words, the Japanese did not have the right to make a mistake, any failure would end with a collapse, as a result of which the company would simply be crushed, not looking at history, or at tradition, or merit. In Europe, this would not be so obvious, but on the other side of the Atlantic, where the brand recognition is still higher, the failure would be very painful.

In Russia, Suzuki does not risk anything. Kizashi will turn out to attract customers, it will not work out by and large not so important. This is just a way to expand geography. But this relative freedom can also play on the hand, especially since the Japanese’s car turned out to be quite decent. Not impressive, no. This is not an explosion of the market to bring competitors will not be able to bring down the newcomer with all the desire, especially if you take into account its price tag. But he will move the same Honda Accord, another thing is that Honda today does not go the best.

In appearance, Kizashi does not make the impression of a large and solid car, such as, for example, Ford Mondeo or the same Accord. Those squat, with pronounced class attributes. This, on the contrary, is quite tall, with the curly trunk and massive bumpers, on the same principle, the unforgettable Liana has been built. But unlike the deceased relative in the exterior of this sedan, there are much more dynamics and athletism. In Asian, however, reading.

In this case, there is a typically eastern stylistic confusion, involved in the bio -design that did not take root in Europe. However, in this case, they made a relatively soft car, which quite qualitatively damps irregularities, but does it not slaughtered, but in a European man. And, which is surprising for cars from the country of the rising sun, quietly enough.

The unit provides the sedan with a perfectly acceptable dynamics, works very decently with both the manual transmission and with an optional variator, but it can only be opposed to the Toyota Camry, which is also similar in terms of Japanese four, also differing in relative dimension. Undressing units like Volkswagen 1.8 TSI are more likely. Maybe this does not give real advantages in dynamics, but the same Skoda Superb, ceteris paribus, seems faster.

By the way, what the Japanese should learn from the Germans is the settings of the Kulisa MKP. The lever moves are quite acceptable, but the pen itself, being supposed enough, as if she travels to jelly. Today, Camry in the basic configuration with a 2.4-liter gasoline engine is offered for 949,000 rubles, and a sedan with a 3.5-liter V6 for 1,360,000 rubles.
