We learned about the preparation of Suzuki for access to high automobile light (represented by the European D-segment) when information appeared about the first concept car of the same name (the Kizashi Hatchback showed at the Frankfurt car dealership in 2007). Then there was a second coming, now in the form of a Kizashi 2 crossover (in Tokyo, in 2007). A year later, a pre-production version was shown in New York, and in 2009, the debut of the final version, more modest, but still very interesting outwardly, took place in Los Angeles.

Of course, statistics lovers can be offended, noting that there was already a formally large sedan in the asset of Suzuki. We are talking about the Verona Baiga Engineering model, which exactly repeated Daewoo Magnus and has been sold in North America since 2004. However, the car did not go, it was removed from production in two years, in 2006. It is pointless to draw parallels between Verona and Kizashi. The first time I met this car on the highway in Myachkovo, where the Russian presentation was held. Even there, the sedan has established itself as well -controlled and obedient. It is clear that in the conditions of the track there is always a little lack of a motor, but now we are talking about controllability. There were few impressions on the highway for a full -fledged article, and we took the car for a test to check in civilian conditions.

It turned out that Kizashi has a driver. The car is quite comfortable, but at the same time gives pleasure even from simply control of oneself. I am ready to support the mood to go quickly. It stands well on the trajectory, with active work, helping with a loaded rear axle to get out of the turn as efficiently as possible. But you somehow involuntarily close your eyes to these small flaws when you find out the car completely.

Nevertheless, with all the positive set of Kizashi qualities, the manufacturer himself does not make a super -start in our market for the car and does not even predict sales. After all, guessing the demand for an unprecedented product is not easy. However, people driving this car will be pretty to me. Because of their craving for a new and not aggravated by stereotypes. After all, Kizashi is a really fresh representative of the class and a really good car.
