It was possible to add several dozen models, but these are already compromises, and H2 and Jimny are magnificent extremes. This crazy topic along the way we took up the comparative test of Hummer and Jimny. The GM representative office gave us black Hummer H2 with a chandelier on the roof, warning that the car in the park has long been and may live the last kilometers. We sat for a week with the half-dead Hummer, while the guys from the Internet forum www.suzuki-club.ru did not agree to put a fighter from their ranks on a standard car. A trophic UAZ is needed to get even if Jimniki suddenly disgraced, and the prepared Samurai will check the ambush sites in order to protect the standard car from injuries. True, no one said why one of the owners of Jimny arrived with a sheathed gun, but everything cleared up when the test ended.
Directly to the core of the planet
Under the conditions of the battle, the standard Jimny should take the same obstacles as the fully standard Hummer H2.
Hummer has an additional blocking of the rear differential and rubber of class AT in the factory configuration. Jimnik is just on all-season wheels and with a classic Part-Time. In addition, an American in the base is coming with an automatic box, and Jimny on mechanics. The sand, who was waiting for us, passion as loves to fade clutch discs, just come on. Later, a day later, when the test was already over, it became clear why still a firearm was needed to Jimny owners: in the Suzuki-Club forum, I read Dan's report on our event. He finished the post with the words: in general, we won. I didn’t even have to comb the gun. Still, off-road automotive journalism is a damn dangerous profession.
