However, it is important to note: as a rule, all modern cars with mechanical transmission are made in such a way that it is worth only to sit behind the wheel and try the levers and pedals, and immediately becomes clear what this car has character and for what, in fact, it is intended. For example, sit behind the wheel, press the clutch pedal, and it is quite actively resisting and just does not want to squeeze. Immediately you understand: the car with a sporting character, well, and then you start to estimate how to behave with it, and in general, whether it is suitable for you, or not. In this car, the clutch pedal was, if you can put it, indifferent: After the STI, I moved behind the wheel of the model 15s with a manual box. And, you know, I did not feel any special difference in the work of the clutch pedal, although, in theory, I had to.

At first, I was going for some time at low speed, and was in a sense surprised how comfortably felt at the same time. For example, if I was sitting at the wheel of the Honda Civic Type R, I would probably seem to be protected. And here is nothing like that. The engine engine demonstrated an enviable smoothness, and if someone comes to the head to use a car for everyday trips, the car will be able to behave and calmly, and measured. True, at low speed, the engine sometimes does not have enough torque, so in the urban sustrone it will have to work quite actively to work the gas pedal. And here the driver may notice what is called a surprise: it is only worth setting the motor too high momentum, the gas turbine is instantly activated, and you do not have time to come to my senses, as we will be rushing at unjustified speed. In this regard, I want to warn all those who are accustomed to driving the STI of the previous generation: the new car is gaining speed much more intensively, so it is inactive with the accelerator!

The owners of the Sti former generation, as I know, are accustomed that their cars so that it happens, behave too calmly. Moreover, among the drivers there is an opinion that, they say, the German cars are yes, you need to be extremely careful with them, and everything else is, they say so seeds! Well, so, I believe that such careless rides will have to change their way of thoughts somewhat. And otherwise trouble!

I distracted, and in fact only I wanted to say that, turning to the STI of the new generation, I should not be seduced, since all of my affectionate kitty at any time is ready to show your claws at any time. Especially if you are pleased with any reason to switch the Si-Drive system to the Sport Sharp mode. Then look in both, otherwise it can happen that you and you don't have time to push on the accelerator, and the car is already torn and how insane will suffer from what speed.

If all the time ride in Sport Sharp mode, the sense of speed is dulled over time. Knowing this, I decided to enforce it, it's time to try something else, the benefit that the Si-Drive system provides such an opportunity. Okay, here, for example, Sport mode: Speed \u200b\u200band in this case grew into just a stunning pace, so that I even thought that the switching did not take place, and the system is still configured to the Sport Sharp mode. Although, to be honest, it is me for the red sense. In fact, the difference is obvious: if you drive in the mode just Sport, then you feel that everything is under your control, but if this is a mode of Sport Sharp, then, alas, it is not focusing there, but on the speed in its pure form. If you compare it with a horse run, then in the first case the car continues to obey the wonder, and in the case when the Sport Sharp mode is valid, it has already buried them.

But all this from the world of sports, and if you want rest, then you need to experiment, but simply switch to Intelligent Mode mode. In this mode, the growth of engine revolutions does not lead to an intensive energy emission, at least the driver feels a direct connection between how it hits with gas, and how the car pulls. By the way, there is a special gear indicator on the dashboard, which works only in Intelligent Mode mode. However, it is so small that against the background of other indicators, which, by the way, have the same coloring, see that he shows there, not so simple. So it would be absolutely not superfluous to make its numeric readings exactly as noticeable as the numbers on the tachometer scale with their characteristic flicker.

I can not get around the party and it seemed to be a convenient innovation, as a system for a smooth start of movement on the rise. It would seem good when you touch the slide, knowing exactly that you have a reserve of time to let the brake pedal and find the accelerator foot, and also choose the right gas. However, as far as this electronic assistant is appropriate in the STIs salon, this is what is the question. If, of course, the driver is sitting behind the wheel, for which a manual box is something completely unusual and even frightening, for him a 3-second delay, during which the car is not exactly rolled back even with a squeezed clutch, then another conversation. But in this case, we are talking about the equipment is not a simple machine, but the WRX STI model. Well, why tell me for mercy, such a help to the driver who deliberately chose such, would I say a specific car?! Is it really not able to touch himself, without any help? Why such an increased guardianship simply do not understand!

The engineer who represented the company explained everything that, they say, otherwise her husband would be difficult to convince his spouse to acquire such a car as a car for the home for a family.
