But what puzzled seriously was the lever of the box: it has to be made unexpectedly a great effort, and when I switched to the third, I hooked a big round of the radio ... and turned it off. Maybe the fingers should be shorter? Or so conceived to enjoy the sound of the motor?

Even harmless turns have to go to the touch, but I don’t want to think about fast turns. In addition, brakes without ABS (this is in the maximum configuration!) Do not shine either with efficiency or informativeness. So I refused high -speed exercises with relief. And he decided to focus on the pleasure of the softness of the suspension. Let the body roll and shift from side to side, but even overcomes the broken village track like a cruise liner, without knocking and clang, only swaying on the waves. Still, at least a little to increase the road clearance, some potholes have to be overcome sneaking up so as not to cling to the belly by the bumps.

You can call me narcissistic or, conversely, indifferent, but I don’t care how others perceive me and my Reno-Logan. Let them say that he is angular and ugly, let them shout that he is primitive-next, it does not bother me. But the approach of the weekend is a holiday for me, not a natural disaster.
I’m starting to prepare for traveling to the cottage in advance. The bags collected the day before occupy only a small part of the trunk, a stroller for the youngest is also placed here. Problems will arise when it grows up: a bicycle, for example, does not enter here: the back does not fold. But while Logan’s cargo capabilities are enough with excess, there was even a free space for a folding grill and a pot of barbecue meat. The road bottle of water took a place in the cup holder, the discs with music hid in the glove compartment, and put a trifle on the shelf in front of the front passenger. Of course, I would prefer the shelf a pillow of safety, but the capital of the capital, alas, does not provide for such. On this, in fact, the preparation ended simple. It's time to sit down yourself.
The tendency of Renault designers to angular forms, maybe annoying aesthetes, but there are more than enough space in the cabin. Having settled with a large -sized brother on quite convenient front seats, we do not cling to the elbows, and in the back you can put three and go on a long journey. The wife and the child were settled, as on a cozy home couch. Personally, I am only concerned with the absence of the rear head restraints that cannot be set even for a surcharge. It’s a sin to save on this option! The central console is also caused by a couple of comments: the climate twists are low, and the beard itself thaws from the driver. True, after a couple of days the hand easily finds the desired lever. I praise the location of the steering wheel: even a tall driver will not notice that the column is devoid of adjustments. But the button of the sound signal from the habit will not be found right away: it is in the end of the steering wheel lever.
The road to the suburban residence was predictably calm. It doesn’t matter that under the wheels of smooth asphalt or primer potholes, the Frenchman’s suspension heroically assumes all the hardships. The motor monotonously sings its song, providing quite tolerable dynamics. To match him and brakes: although there is no ABS, Logan slows down quickly and without screening. True, in the city I was pleased with the lightness of the steering wheel, but on the highway with speed growth, the feedback disappears. Moreover, when the speedometer arrow exceeded a hundred, they would accelerate frankly scary: it seemed that the relationship between the steering wheel with the wheels simply disappeared. It’s better to slow down: it’s so calmer and less likely to run into an ambush with radar.
Having reached the place and unloading the luggage, we with emotion looked back at the car. Without saying a word, they decided: even if it’s not a handsome man, even if not very modern, let everyone know that it is cheap, but it will be for us to become a reliable companion in all travels. He can.

How expensive is these machines?
Our data on the exploration of NECSIs (there were several of them in the ZR park), the last car of this model left the editorial office in 2004. But they did not demand a lot of money. Logan finished the service with us a few months ago; The kilometer of his run cost 2.62 rubles. We think the pleasure of traveling to Nessia today will cost about the same money.
Are there any characteristic diseases?
The weak point of Nexia is the back suspension. Smartly springs break the springs quickly, so you need to load the trunk with an eye. In the logs, rust sometimes around the windshield, although it was not on our car.
What we liked:
Dau-Nexia justifies the banal rank of workhorse, with German roots. Having crossed it from a domestic car, you especially appreciate the unpretentiousness and humanity of the machine.

What we didn't like:
DEU-Nexia: advanced age, a small road clearance, a tight (especially behind) Salon is an incompetent car. The earlier cars were depressed by a noticeable decrease in the quality of manufacture more persistent to corrosion, and they are better collected.
Renault-Logan could be called a trolley for a supermarket, having a more convenient cargo compartment. The savings on ABS, passenger pillow and rear head restraints puzzles. The cheap and unsafe not synonyms are not at all.
