There are many questions - one answer. I hold the chubby and comfortable 3-spoke steering wheel of the new Zafira. The bagel, like the entire salon, is borrowed from the popular Astra model. Simple but cute and understandable devices too. Only the layout of the central console changed slightly - the climatic installation blocks and the CD-receiver climbed above, and the central blowing deflectors are now around the information display. In favor of a more vertical landing. The most significant difference is the beard of the central console, on which the gear lever is located. Thanks to the beard, it is located almost in a challenge, but when the inclusion of even speeds, it still lies in an unacceptable sap. An unusual patchwork bracket will appear.

 

Together with individual elements, Zafira was adopted from ASTRA and the general atmosphere of the interior. Everything is emphasized here minimalistically, functionally and technological. No hints on the bourgeois decor or bourgeois luxury. Perhaps someone such a style will seem too cold (this is the family crew!), But I personally like it. Although some difficulties of an ergonomic nature occurred - this concerns the management of the audio system and non-fixed submitters. And it is even pity that the creators of Zafira left the driver without a pointer of the engine temperature. Everything he needs to know, in their opinion, is the amount of fuel in the tank.

 

Compact-Ven increased in a length of 150 mm, and in width - by 59. The height almost did not change (163 cm), sit down and leave the car is still needed, only beaten slightly.

 

The Body Zafira simultaneously has been refreshing, and retained familiar proportions. The profile has practically not changed (with the exception of new door handles - under natural grip), and the face is much none - a new corporate identity. You can digest designers for the equalization, but the almond-shaped eyes and bends of the bumper are very pretty. But behind everything is strictly, albeit less than before.

Zafira accelerates so that many athletes will envy. Just have time to wrap the gearbox lever, otherwise the turbo engine instantly imprints the speedometer arrow into the speed limiter. Eh, if it were not yet snowball on asphalt, yes not spikes, because of which the yellow triangle of an unconnected ESP flashes on the dashboard

 

Powered dynamics badly fit with almost a bus planting. Instinctively, I would like to easily lower the chair below and take a more horizontal position, but the laws of the one-vision genre, naturally, do not provide similar opportunities. And the brake pedal will require addiction - the drive is so sensitive that for working braking it is enough only to touch the pedal to the foot. You need to be careful. In general, a regular family driver, a turbated Zafira may surprise and even scare.

 

With less intense accelerations and in motion at a constant speed, the character of the CD-Wen is reliable - Zafira is equally well holding straight and stands on the arc. I am glad that the rolls are not at all that we are waiting for from a high car. Only with sharp maneuvers there are some ambiguity of reactions - it is felt that the size of the car is still considerable and taking turns just like hatchback, it is difficult for her. The electrohydraulic amplifier works well - the force on the steering wheel increases adequately, there is no emptiness in the zero zone.

 

By the way, the amplifier, shock absorbers and accelerator drive are related to each other IdS Plus system and work in coordination with ESP. An important link of this chain is the CONTINUUS Damping Control (Continuous Damping Control), thanks to which high Zafira successfully confronts rolls and demonstrates enviable driving quality. On the front panel, next to the seat heating button - Sport key. Its by pressing the IDS Plus component is transferred to the sports mode. The steering wheel becomes more dense, the car starts to react sharper, and the suspension is clamped. As a result, Zafira rides still collected. And on comfort it almost does not affect.

 

Zafira, as before, can provide places by seven. Do not seek goodness, they decided to Opel, the Flex7 interior transformation system has not changed.
