Our long -term Opel Vectra test ended. According to the results of six months, say: the machine does not give any serious reasons for disappointment.
You will not believe the phrase read somewhere, but the new vector practically has no shortcomings at first caused irony. But so it turned out: most of our claims to this car are at the level of fishing fleas.
 
- Terminator III. The uprising of cars - this case, perhaps, was the most unpleasant in the history of our communication with the vector. Once she refused to open. I stood for two hours on the street, and then did not recognize our key: how much we (literally we - three people in turn) did not press the button, nothing happened. They began to try by putting a metal -set of the key in the only larva of the door lock. Does not turn! They called the service. There they offered to buy a defrostr in the nearest store and process the castle for them. Are you sure you will work out? - We asked and reminded that in the alarm mode the lock is blocked in such a way that from the inside it cannot be opened with the help of a handle. So should he get out from the outside, from the key? A person from the service was not sure of that. Immediately, the advice of the experienced was remembered aloud: carry a spare key with you, wrapping it in polyethylene and fixing it somewhere in a hidden place, for example, under the bottom ... A spare key arrived at the place in an hour. The car opened. And having got into the ignition castle, he sniffed with the vector and earned and the chattering key.
 
Another of the problems with electronics: the fuel sensor often instructed. You fill the tank - already gasoline in the neck can be seen - and the device shows a complete risk without one risks. For some reason, he is inclined to mate. Another problem came out right there - the lack of an on -board computer, by which you can judge the run on the remaining fuel. Alas, a computer is an option for all configurations.

 
- Convenient in the location of the music control button on the steering wheel are illogical. Try to keep track of the thought. The station listed in memory can be flipped out only in a circle and only with the button with the arrow up, and switch the tracks to the CDs to the right and left. The upward button when listening to the CD transfers to the first track. That is, you need to constantly remember whether you listen to the disk or radio, otherwise, when changing the annoying track (station), nonsense will occur: CD - return to the very beginning, radio - scan ether.
 
+/- At first, the automatic gearbox was slightly strained with strained overclocking. And then the car rolled out, began to drive quite briskly and almost left no regrets about the lack of a handle - despite the fact that the pseudo -the manual does not replace the mechanics here, too slow down. Occasionally in the box there is some incomprehensible flickering transmission, but it is clearly not worth contacting the service: it is not annoying to annoy, and if it suddenly leads to any consequences-this is the two-year-old factory guarantee and even plus a year from the dealer.
 
- It is worth noting that the vector is not too much space for the knees of the rear passengers. Astra, which is less than the class, it is about the same. But here the trunk is large, correct shape, with a full -sized stock under the floor. There is only one drawback - to open the lid, you must certainly press the lock button outside. Everything is fine, if not for the Vectra feature: the trunk attracts the dirt very well - the rear number becomes unreadable faster than the front. I had to get a special glove to open the trunk.
 
What else to complain about? It is inconvenient to shake the ashtray when the automatic transmission handle is in the parking position. It is better to switch to drive for five seconds. Velor seats (the luxury of our configuration, like inserts under a tree) magically attract all the villi to themselves. You can repent of small identical buttons on the beard: you have to peer, where is which one.
 
And the rest of the claims, if we recall, will be of the same level. The car never gave the reason to call on the service. To the first, 15,000th, we did not reach, and oil (only about 1.5 liters) was added on our own, after reminding the diagnostic system.
 
+ Now positive sides. In the car that we had on the test, there is everything that may be required for the demanding, but not spoiled consumer. The range of steering and seat adjustments allows you to well sit down to the driver of almost any complexion. Separate climate control is available, heating the seats in the extreme position after five minutes leads to the thoughts of the eggs, the mirrors are basking and moving, the rear seat is laid out, for ski and fishing rods there is a special hatch from the trunk ... The stabilization system works very correctly and when too The high speed of entering the turn really gives the car the direction you need. It is a pity, of course, that neither ESP nor its part-time tracket control is disconnected. At speed, the car behaves excellent - neither aerodynamic whistle nor scrolls. The steering wheel is exactly the same as it should be, both in captivity and the operation of the amplifier.
 
+ Opel has one more useful and, let's hope, long -term quality: it is of little interest to hijackers. As a result, according to a special program offered by dealers in Moscow and St. Petersburg, you can insure Vectra in full autocas for only 7.6 percent.
