A new caravan car for outdoor activities with the whole family or a small company was created, as emphasized, from scratch. And yet this is Opel. Without any doubt. But Opel of the 21st century, the beginning of the history of which was laid in 2003, when the prototype of the future Insignia was shown.
By the way. Since November last year, INSIGNIA diverged with a circulation of 75 thousand copies. This is almost the best indicator for the business class sedan in Europe. Well, as for the Insignia Sports Tourer, more than 78 thousand orders have already been accepted for it.

Like the sedan, the Insignia Sports Tourer was developed at the GM Europe Design and Design Center in Russelsheim, where it will be produced. Well, the redistribution of the torque between the front and rear axles is in charge of the Haldex coupling with electronic control. The acceleration is smooth, the controllability is excellent and the return path, as is known, is always shorter: a short visit to low mountains, to serpentine, and almost immediately down, to the autobahn. Then I transferred the steering wheel and took the passenger's place. How good he is! A comfortable chair, you can stretch your legs from the speakers something German-speaking, from time to time the next navigation system grumps. In a word, I did not notice how to doze off.
The skyscrapers of Frankfurt woke up on the horizon, pointers appeared on the right with a turn to the airport. So we arrived.
A look into the future
What else would I like to tell? About what INSIGNIA awaits in the near future, especially since the top managers of GM and Opel promised that there would be a lot of new ones. Despite the crisis, and even to who will eventually belong to Adam Opel AG. Well, for example, Insignia is waiting for two new engines one gasoline and one diesel.

Competitors of the BMW Touring of the 5th series (although it is almost twice as twice as Insignia), Mercedes C-class in the universal body (about 10,000 euros more expensive than INSIGNIA) and Volvo V70, comparable to Insignia.
