In the shadow of smart light, I almost forgot about the engine. Now under the hood of Insignia is a 2-liter diesel. Additional sensors collect information about the profile of the road, the intensity of movement, visibility and transmit data to the control unit, which every secondly analyzes the situation and gives the command to the actual mechanisms of the headlights.
In addition to the smart light, the all -seeing Eye of Opel Eye Opel's Eye helps. In front of the salon mirror, a large -format camera: it takes 30 pictures per second and compares them with the onboard base of road signs and signs. If coincidences arise, a warning is displayed on the instrument shield, for example, about the speed restriction or prohibition of overtaking. The system warns the driver if the car goes to the side of the occupied strip.
