Unlike hatchbacks, which can be equipped with a fairly wide range of engines, including even diesel engines, only two gasoline 4-cylinder units are put on the sedans sold in Russia. One has a volume of 1.6 liters and a power of 115 hp, and the second is already 1.8 liters and 140 hp. Of course, a 1.8 liter engine pulls better, however, the difference between power units is not as serious as it might seem at first glance. Now about the gearboxes. In addition to the 5-speed mechanics, which is placed on both power units, there is also a robot called Easytronic (is paired with 1.6). Alas, there are still quite a few complaints to the work of the latter. Not for nothing, almost all manufacturers abandoned this type of transmission in favor of the variator or new generation of robots, which have the so -called double clutch. Therefore, it was decided to say no robot. As for a more familiar machine, such machines are only with a set with a 1.8-liter engine. And automatic Astra 1.8 cost more than 1.6 with mechanics by 70,000 rubles. (30,000 rubles. As a surcharge for a more voluminous engine + 40,000 rubles per machine). We decided to save. Therefore, they opted for the simplest machine with a manual gearbox. Moreover, the operation of our Astra proved that the mechanics work fine, and there are no complaints about it.

Let's move on to the equipment and set of options. As already mentioned, Astra, even in the most modest version of Essentia for 603 850 rubles. It has air conditioning, a musical system with six speakers, four airbags. Not bad, not bad at all. But Astra Essentia will have manually adjustable external mirrors and 15-inch wheels. Therefore, it makes sense to take the car in the Enjoy configuration. By paying 12,150 rubles, we will receive not only the electric drive of the mirrors, the decorated steering wheel, the on-board computer with a large screen, more sophisticated music with control on the steering wheel (it can read mp3 files), double cryphones for reading, rain sensor, automatic inclusion system Sveta, but also 16-inch discs. If all this is ordered for the Essentia version, it will come out much more (for example, only an electric mirror electric drive costs 4,500 rubles).

If you want to save, then on the Enjoy version you can stop (616,000 rubles). And from a huge list of options, order another protection of the crankcase (4000 rubles), front chairs with heating (6000 rubles) and parking sensors (8500 rubles). The last blunt for the sedan is important, because because of the large trunk, the visibility back is not the best. In addition, the installation of parking sensors in some small company will cost not much cheaper. Well, the armchairs with heating in our climate is very necessary and pleasant in all respects (by the way, heating in Opel Astra has adjustment). As a result, Astra 1.6 in the Enjoy configuration with the above set of options will cost 634,500 rubles. It is such a machine, in our opinion, will be the best choice in the case of Astra.

However, if you have a desire to drive a more sophisticated machine, you can use the special offer of the Enjoy package. For 25,000 rubles. You will receive climate control (not air conditioning), seats with adjustment in six directions (and not four), cruise control, heating of the seats, a central armrest and a cigarette lighter. By the way, if all this is ordered separately, then the amount of 36,800 rubles will run.

Of course, according to the mind, to Astra Enjoy with an additional package, you still need to buy a crankcase (4000 rubles), parking sensors (8500 rubles), xenon headlights (19500 rubles) and ESP. The latter costs quite inexpensively 13,000 rubles. But in this case, Astra will cost 686,000 rubles. Is it not better to immediately buy Astra in the most chic configuration of Cosmo, which with the protection of the crankcase, parking sensors, xenon and ESP will cost 692,500 rubles. For a version with a 1.6 liter engine and a mechanical gearbox. After all, Astra Cosmo will have fog and cast discs.

But almost 700 thousand per car with 1.6 and is there too many mechanics? Although it all depends on the priorities. Someone from the car requires a leather-role, everything, someone wants a powerful motor. The third just needs a good car for normal money.
