NOTE A new name in the name Nissan. Compact and spacious, mischievous and practical, stylish, but not pretentious, Note is created on the same platform with Nissan Micra and Renault Modus. He has many common features with his blood brothers in detail, but completely individual in general, and holds his own trump cards.

Creating city everyday cars, car concerns have been growing for the first year in search of optimum somewhere between the hatchback and the compact van. In this sense, Nissan Note is a pronounced representative of the mainstream.

The fact that the European will consider indisputable convenience, the Russian does not perceive so easily. Even now and even in Moscow. What can we say about smaller cities. Nevertheless, it is easier to prefer practical things to prestigious, but too binding, or progressive classic becomes fashionable.

Human perception and growing hatchbacks, good ten years moved towards each other. We understood by the onslaught of iron arguments of everyday life that a beautiful machine did not have to have proportions of sports coupes. In the end, cars with classic types of body still inevitably grow up in pursuit of the expanse for high passengers, in an effort to keep up with everyone. At the same time, representatives of the new tribe received an increasingly relevant and emotional design. Today they sometimes look most progressive or sophisticated from the entire range of models. The last argument was that these cars went no worse than their more squat colleagues.

Nissan Note, if you consider the relationship within the Renaultnissan alliance, is rather a step towards customers with a more traditional taste than those who prefer Modus. Along with the good nature, which is expressed by large headlights in the spirit of Micra, the appearance of Note is complemented by the seriousness of Murano, its own elegant simplicity of the side lines and originality, however predictable, rear light lights.

The landing behind the wheel is quite vertical, but it is still closer to the passenger than the bus. The pedal unit will not seem tight even to men with the 46th foot size, which is rare in this class today. It is not difficult to choose a convenient landing, and the only inconvenience is typical: the wide front stand greatly limits visibility to the left and forth.

The three -spoke steering wheel is rich and very convenient: the skin. The large stitches with which it is tightened are under the fingers and are able to force the car as more expensive. The salon is generally finished with qualitatively and organized functionally. The cooled glove box is simply huge.

The interior is a little eclectic both in the design and in execution. Tearing off your hand from the leather rim of the steering wheel to switch the transmission, you are contrasting in sensations, dragging the work with satisfactory clarity, but cheap sound and the nature of the fixation of the KP lever. Inserts for matte aluminum on the knitting needles of the steering wheel are adjacent to the chrome of the rounds of round, under the retro, parts of the climate control unit. An ascetic dashboard under an inconspicuous glass exists next to a pronounced shine of the lenses of the same climate. However, the conclusions about whether it is good or not, everyone will do it on his own. The objective capabilities of the Nissan Note salon are very extensive and the car presents the first gift to the rear passengers.

High front chairs, for nothing that they contain a decent container for small things, are installed high above the floor. So much so that, sitting in the back seat, you can completely stretch your legs. Such a landing will not provide most serious sedans. The entire back row can be moved by increasing the cargo or passenger volume. The luggage compartment can be organized to your liking using a removable partition. The possibilities of transformation of the salon are impressive. Many combinations are available, including obtaining a flat cargo surface everywhere, except for the driver's place. And in order to do these operations, you do not have to make efforts, get into the nests with fixers ... All operations for transforming the cabin are performed in one movement.

On the move, Note did not present surprises. A completely non -burned suspension combines comfort in the nature of the work with very good and typical manageability for thoroughbred family compacts. That is, almost at the level of the nozzle hatchback. Note perfectly resists the rolls in the bend. The complaints are caused only by the tendency of the machine to scream both when passing small irregularities and in the lateral wind, which, however, is natural. The electric power capture makes the steering wheel almost weightless in parking modes, but it is worth starting to accelerate, as the force increases, ahead of the increase in speed.

Nissan Note will be delivered with 1.4 gasoline engines (88 hp) and 1.6. The hundred-ashes with five-speed mechanics begins to confidently accelerate with 2000 RPM, in the region of 35004000 min-1 the engine is perceived most organically and, maintaining ease of operation, supplies the machine with excellent dynamics. For boring acceleration, the motor can be twisted further, however, at increased speeds, its noise becomes obsessive.

Separate praises deserve brakes. The mechanisms are simple: disk front and drum behind. Nevertheless, in the work they liked both the convenience of management and relative resistance in the rigid conditions of mountain roads. ABS with the system of distribution of brake forces works with Brake Assist and ESP (in the top option of configuration), the presence of which, however, was found only in the role of the Traction Control. The development of slipping the system completely indulges both on asphalt and on the ground. Maybe the situation will be different in the snow? Let's see.

Nissan Note is a great player in his still small but developing class. Repacible and convenient, it is easily controlled and able to give pleasure. How successful will it become in Russia? The consumer component of success is evident. Economic depends on the price that has not yet been announced.
