The question is, half a ton of what exactly, Navara is not positioned as a utilitarian truck, but as a car for people leading an active lifestyle, not sensing sports, adoring picnics, trips to nature, fishing/hunting, mushrooms/berries. In addition, very original, do not want to have a boring car, like everyone else. Although what can not be called boring or dull, it is Pathfinder, which is considered basic for Navara. Moreover, he provides the owner with exactly the same set of opportunities as the pickup. Or not even? In fact, what to prefer to a person who, with friends, tents, kayaks and bicycles, is chosen a couple of times a year for a week to the lake, and almost every weekend is just in the forest or fishing. At the same time, it does not necessarily force categorical rivers or storms mountain ranges on a Mountain-bike at a price of a half-rumor. This is an ordinary person, not an athlete-athlet, although you might think about them. In short, we collected the equipment, took the Nissan Navara pickup and the Nissan Pathfinder SUV and went to the autumn forest for the final picnic this season.

It turns out that with dynamic driving on bumps, the front suspension of our loaded heroes is no longer so confidently holding a blow. On Navara, it is less common, but on Pathfinder it was more often heard how the levers rudely fall on the chipsters and, not meeting reciprocity, indignantly thumps about the limiters of the move from the other side. The rear suspensions, especially the spring at the pickupa, look at this fuss silently and down, and nevertheless, it is better to move on the off -road slowly. The road clearance of cars within the base is almost the same 238 and 236 mm for SUV and pickup, respectively. Under the front suspension, both are 254 mm, under the back of Pathfinder 235, and in Navara 230. The differences are insignificant, it is important only to remember that the outbuilder from the load will decrease from the load, but the pickup does not. The height of the side is 475 mm. The width between the wheel arches is 1130 mm, and the width of the opening of the folding side is 1430 mm. Who doubted, you will say, nevertheless, I will continue if you are not going to take three kayaks or things similar in dimensions at once, and for bicycles and light volumetric things you have special luggages on the roof, then the pickup will have no advantages. Especially when you consider that a pickup with a roof over the body and a pickup without it are two big differences. And without a roof, it is impossible to leave it for a minute, especially in the outback. But then he smacks with distant expeditions, where without special preparation of the car and you should not meddle.
