I look at this car and see: it is beautiful. Anyone who does not understand the cars in detail, may even think that this is the new Porsche. On design, they are really somewhere nearby. And more precisely, the three of my priorities is as follows: Hyundai Coupe, Nissan 350z and Porsche in the back of 996. The latter, of course, is in the first place. And this growing reflects not only the assessment of the design of machines, but also their cost. I would say their class.
The Hyundai car is cheap and designed for youth, who will drive the streets and imagine how at an older age they will cross on another compartment - from Porsche.
Nissan 350z can also be called a youth machine, but it is for those who have strengthened in life. The Nissan looks sports and, as has already been said, is similar to Porsche. If this is borrowing, then very good, moreover, some national Japanese features are visible in its appearance.
And it is also very important that there is no lightweight inherent in many Asian machines, and partly Nissan himself. I would say that the Nissan 350z is a step to a different level. The level of quality of perception. At the same time, the pricing policy of the company, quite humane in relation to its customers, has not changed. This is great, because it is precisely such machines that allow people to educate people in a buzz from driving a car, let it be illusory and illusory. But do not forget that the real sports car is not able to give any special joy: it is hot, cramped and constantly shaking. But his behavior is absolutely predictable - from the zero mark of the speedometer to the stop. What can not be said about the car on which I had to drive. I'm talking about the tuning version of the Nissan 350z.
The road through the guillotine. What happened to the Moscow craftsmen is even more beautiful than the original. Maybe the glass tinted with orange film is too much, but in general - very cool. Look at the gyliotic doors-a complete compliance with the image of the machine. The Japanese did not guess them to make them, and our guys bought special loops in America, suffered a little and set. This makes an impression.
Otherwise, they tried to use ready -made Japanese solutions. The national character is manifested not only on the battlefield, in design and cooking. It can be traced even in the approach to tuning cars. I know: it is worth ordering in Europe, in Germany, an extreme tuning on Porsche, and you will be given a car on which a person will not want to drive in their right mind. The Germans will put two turbines, remove 1100 horsepower from the engine (the motor, however, will die after 500 km, but nothing), put a super -fierce suspension, almost a real sports seat ...
But Nissan. Most of the details for tuning 350z were made by companies close to Nissan, that is, this can be traced some kind of philosophy-namely, the philosophy of comfort and visual high-tech. It is primarily about the engine. Two turbines were put on him, and the screen was brought into the salon. With it, the user can control the superchargers, choosing between the modes and following the readings of the sensors. Very affordable, beautiful and looks like running lines of lights in a music center for two hundred dollars. Only there, the owner of the apparatus is proposed using equalizer to adjust the sound or install one of the stipulated modes. These manipulations affect the final result slightly - it is unlikely to improve the sound, but the user is still satisfied: he gets the opportunity to feel in the settings. In this case, in the settings of the car. And say before the trip to the girl: look. I turned this pen. Now we will go not just quickly, but very quickly. Exactly, this version of the Nissan 350Z is in its pure form for courtship. The 440-horsepower engine gives the car such an acceleration that the girl will think that she flies into space.
In order for a girlish fainting to be the only risk factor, Nissan took care: the car has many electronic devices that share responsibility for what is happening with the driver - these are ABS and stabilizing systems. They are designed to protect the client and here they are not in vain. Because in the process of improving the prototype, several such changes occurred in the nature of the machine that scare me as a professional pilot FIA GT. After all, the 350th is a classmate of my combat Porsche. At the 350th, the Japanese tried to go to our championship this year, but, realizing their non-competency, they removed the candidacy. Of course, they will come, but for this you will need time. Apparently, today Nissan does not have enough sports technologies, and this cannot but affect serial-like-sporting machines.
There is power - no steering wheel. It was not easy and private to bring the serial Nissan 350z to the image of a sports car. Just building the power of the engine for this is clearly not enough.
You don’t have to go so much to understand: the left back side of the car is overloaded for some reason-about 50 kilograms. This asymmetric weightlifting has led to the fact that when the driver makes a sharp left turn, the right side begins to be carried so that it turns on. Stabilization system. At the same time, a sharp turn of the steering wheel to the right does not lead to anything like that. The guys who made the car confirmed: yes, there is such a problem. Already alone, it does not allow you to fully enjoy the dynamics, which the powerful motor gives. The engine, by the way, deserves the kindest words. The turbine works so correctly that you do not notice its presence at all - it seems that under the hood there is an atmospheric engine of a large volume. But since the real volume of the motor is 3.5 liters, it was designed under another return, the cooler had to be put on it.
440 horsepower - power is sufficient to bring a lot of problems. The car began to control differently-the tail strives to overtake the face. The wide rear wheels are difficult to fit in the arches - when turning, the back right side begins to grunt. In a good way, it would be necessary to change the steering. For such a car, the steering wheel is too light, it should be much denser, it facilitates control at high speeds.
However, you can not do this yet. At the speed of the Nissan 350z, aerodynamic problems pop up. I see anti -wing, I see an expensive body kit, but what happens to the machine after 150 km/h is clearly abnormally.
Fulfillment under the plywood. It is known that any car, and not just capable of overcoming 300 or about that kilometers per hour, should be pressed to the ground more strongly as it increases. As they say, the grade effect is obliged. His enemy is twisting that arise under the bottom of the machine. To exclude them, the bottom of sports car-even Formula 1-are sewn up with sheets of plywood: it is light, even and costs a penny.
Of course, I do not urge to close ordinary road machines from below with plywood, but with this specific copy you need to do something-with a set of speed it loses its connection with the road. I accelerated to 160, and it was enough for me to understand: 220, even in damp weather, the car can fly off the highway even on a straight line. It seems that the design works against the effectiveness of movement.
But the heads of the creators of the car are now clogged by others: is it not to put real mechanics in Nissan instead of the machine gun? My opinion is categorically not. With a machine gun, the user can fully focus on the road, and the box itself and mildly switch to it. With mechanics, everything will be tougher. In a bad sense. All inconsistency of the mechanisms will come out. It will be easier to expand the car across the road at speeds, unless, of course, a professional racer does not turn out to be driving. But this is another user class.
General and private. All that I mentioned is far from private things that concern a particular car made by some and converted by other people. This is a conflict. In my opinion, the Nissan 350Z is very good in the form in which it comes from the factory. It is designed for the power of 287 horsepower, hung under 287 horsepower and imprisoned under 287 horsepower. As soon as someone begins to give him previously unprecedented properties, problems appear. It is likely that they could be avoided if alterations in a certain sequence. From the manufacturers of turbines, find out which of the manufacturers of the suspension they recommend and with which body kit the whole farm is combined - not in terms of beauty, but in terms car behavior at high speed. And at the end, conduct full -fledged tests of the resulting product. In the meantime, the safe limit of this car is somewhere around 150 km/h.
But what's interesting. I asked the creators of the nameless tuning version of the Nissan 350z, what goals did they actually pursue? In order for people to pay attention, and on occasion it was possible to tackle. Well, they seemed to achieve their own. People really pay attention, and starting from the traffic light, the owner of the Nissan 350z will very quickly find that he was left alone on the road. Of course, they will catch up. But he will receive his few seconds of fame in full.

The new Nissan 350z completely breaks the prevailing hierarchy of horsepower ... With its 287 forces, it is only a few more modestly than Porsche 911, and it costs more than two times less.

The Nissan 350Z appeared in the Japanese and American markets in 2002. In this instance, the Nissan 350z implemented almost all possible forms and elements of tuning. The total costs reached $ 125,000. The power unit cost most of all: Greddy from two turbochargers, intermediate, was installed on the engine. cooler, valves and exhaust manifold ($ 10,000). This also includes the redone fuel system ($ 400) and exhaust ($ 2500).
