Time rushes at the speed of McLaren - here it is, standing in the yard under pairs. He is such a handsome man that not only schoolchildren with the seal of Dom-2 on the forehead, but even always alive veteran on a free oka, do not risk him.
This is a disgusted E-Klasse 350 4-Matic, and this should say a lot. E-Klasse-like a middle-class banner in the West and a very Upper-Middle in Russia. We will not consider shopkeepers and citrus traders. The positioning of Mercedes in Russia is generally more careful, because this car, like around the world, is a measured in life, and for many it is just its goal. Especially in Russia, where they are not accustomed to correlating their modest successes with their immodest desires.
 
Having traveled from work to the house, I immediately at the computer in my own Blog shared my thoughts about this machine: it flies quickly, and the salon is excellent, not great and not small, 4x4 is perfect here, but only the journalist should not have Such a car is owned ...
And then I met some misunderstanding from the side of quite reasonable and wealthy people-they say why this journalist should not go to E-Klasse. Why?
Yes, because e-klasse is a machine of a successful businessman, a highly paid athlete, in the end, we write off the stupidity of Russian show business, a class singer and the texture of Meladze.

Of course this is a car middle class, because it is not pathos for a business gate, which needs to demonstrate all the signs of an alpha male. (Only s-klasse, and not a heel to the enemy.) But despite its mid-class, it gently isolates a person from the surrounding reality (suspension, noise protection, excellent climate control for all zones of the cabin) and therefore is subject to immediate purchase.
For the first time, the PRE-SAFE system is included in the basic E-Klasse configuration, which, when a critical road situation occurs, pulls up seat belts, sets the chair in a safe position, closes windows and hatch. How does electronics reveal danger? The system is activated with emergency braking, the occurrence of a deep skidding of the rear of the car or the demolition of the front wheels. It turns out that the new E-Klasse driver’s pranks, to put it mildly, may not understand. But those suffering from autophobia will appreciate this feature. Especially if they order a complete set of sifts: pro-Safe, Passive-Safe and Post-Safe. If the blow is inevitable, the electronics will instantly assess the situation, select the optimal power of the pillows and head restraints, drown out the motor, turn on the emergency gear, and after the accident will unlock the door locks.
The first thing my friend said is the owner of a large shopping center (he has the main car-the 750th, and for entertainment-Ferrari 530): Oh, I wanted this for a long time! At first I was surprised - we are not of your consumption, Lord, and then remembered: he is a smart and stylish person. He was obliged to pay attention to this car.
 
And the next day it started to rain, and Moscow got up. Another thing is that a car with such a colorful coating is always sorry to expose the Moscow chemical winter. I wonder what meanings are still preparing the Moscow authorities inexhaustible in this regard? Another couple of acids and salts? A broken granite that will destroy your galvanized surfaces? What else? Only civil stupidity can explain the fact that the Mercedes owner have not yet united in a club to re -elect the Moscow City Hall in full force. Just from resentment for their tens and hundreds of thousands and total millions of euros.
 
What else can we say about this car? The power of the motor is 272 horsepower, and the maximum torque is 350nm. From zero to one hundred kilometers per hour, the Mercedes E350 accelerates to 6.9 seconds, and its maximum speed is 250 kilometers per hour. At the same time, the new engine consumes an average of 9.7 liters of fuel per hundred kilometers, which is 0.2 liters less than the old engine on the E320 version. A new motor on Mercedes E-Klasse is equipped with a seven-speed automatic, and versions with all-wheel drive transmission-a five-speed automatic
The consumption, despite the traffic jams, was not too large - about fifteen liters per hundred in the city. At the same time, he gives on the highway confident 8 liters and all. So a 3.5-liter engine can be considered quite economical. Although in Russia people who buy Mercedes are least thinking about the price of a liter of fuel, and this is not a natural Russian generosity, but in a class psychotype.
 
By the way, about psychology: it always seemed to me somewhat unethical to compare different brands of outstanding cars (namely brands, and not individual models that could be different), but still in the perception of mass consciousness, these brands vary among themselves. So, on the roads Mercedes E-Klasse is perceived without much fear, but with respect. Sometimes Mercedes owners unclearly believe that this gives them some advantages on the highway, and begin to violate. But I see a more positive background of this perception: in the Russian brain of Mercedes, this is a great example of an engineering masterpiece, design in the cash register and the eternal Russian dream of a million bucks right on the furnace. Seeing the hood of such a miracle, many simply part out of respect for the car, and not for the rider who fell apart there. And this also needs to be understood.
 
We cannot also not note the fact that Mercedes has become more active in the Russian market - it is quite possible that this is a continuation of the policy that it leads in Europe, or maybe began to appreciate the fidelity of the Russian public to the brand.
