Crossover. Just a crossover.

It is pleasant that an expressive design, a powerful engine, an automatic machine, all -wheel drive are offered to customers without a premium allowance. Mazda began the sales of the SC-7 crossover, which is ahead of the possibility of a supplier.
 

You can’t say anything good! The Mazda crossover has a stylish and non -trivial design with a rapid and streamlined body. The roof with a smooth line passes into the hood; The outstanding front arches seem to be specially inflated under 18-inch wheels, and the arch of the rear axle even had to climb into the glass.
 

Two muzzles of the front headlights are visible through the transparent disperfighters. Another more unusual layout of the rear lighting devices. The wide front air intake is not only an aggressive part, but also the protection of the radiator from overheating.
 

But inside inside everything is much more banal. It seems that the CX-7 interior is no brighter than the interiors of the less expensive Mazda. In any case, the style is the same as in the six. And feelings, the same materials as on the three. This is upset, because the car costs one million one hundred forty thousand rubles !!!

 

The assembly quality, of course, is worthy (except that the cover of the boxing box was slightly ill, but we will write off on this test copy), the doors are interesting and high-quality, but the plastic in the design of the torpedo and on the heart of the steering wheel is hard.
 

The red strip of on -board computer passed here from the six. It contains a large amount of information, but readability is far from perfect; In addition, the screen glance in the sun.

 

The Acoustic system Bose was once again pleased with pure and high-quality sound, and climate control (dos is only single-zone) in a few hours of work with difficulty cooling the air in the cabin up to 18C.
 

The steering is on MX-5: with polished glossy plastic and convex core. But the signaling is inconvenient: you need to crush not for the whole bulge, but only on its center. But the seats are successful. Even if they do not have a sports grip, but the anatomical form allows you to sit tight and very convenient. And you don’t need to hold on to the wheel!

 

By the way, the steering wheel here with a variable effort: at low speed it will be poured with tangible heaviness, and a small backlash falls on high acuteness, which protects against the accidental change of trajectory. It is worth noting that it will be more difficult for tall people to get comfortable: the column is regulated only in height.
 

CX-7 drives slower than the three MPS. This is not surprising, because the crossover is more heavier than 150 kg, and the 2.3-liter turbo engine is deformed up to 236 liters. S. to digest the 95th gasoline.
 

If the Mazda3 MPS did not know what to do with such a herd, then the seven is slightly not enough: acceleration to 100 km/h in less than 8 s, of course, is not bad. But at the same time, the maximum capabilities of the CX-7 are limited to 181 km/h. It will be inconvenient when the baby Corsa or Yaris will bypass you on the German autobahn

(By the way, it is not difficult to navigate here, since even in the drive mode the automatic machine tells what kind of transmission is turned on).

However, according to the testimony of the flowmeter, it is not possible to save a lot: the most immodest passport consumption was 15.3 liters (in the city cycle), and we were shown from the screen, on average, as much as 24.7 l! I don't want to believe
 

In any case, if you are counting on a dynamic ride, do not trust the gear shift to electronics. If you are not lazy and put the checkpoint selector into a mechanical mode, the CX-7 appears much more sports than it seemed before

 

Mazda combines successful dynamics with decent behavior where asphalt ends. Full -wheel drive, more precisely, the front -wheel drive with elements of the full crossover inherited from Mazda6 MPS. It is worth the front wheels to enter the slippery coating, as the differential will instantly transfer part of the moment to the rear wheels, and they will help the front.
 

A huge clearance (208 mm!) Allows you to forget about the curbs (or borders as you like), but the angles of entry and the congress will not let them break off on the road. But it is easy to go around the traffic jam!

The brakes are not as bad as it seems from the driver's seat. Slowing is quite effective, only high smoothness and comfortable car settings dull the objectivity of the process assessment. And in steep turns, the CX-7 allows the rolls, squeals rubber and even easily goes along a wider path and for this it is not necessary to turn off the TCS system (the button is located to the right of the steering wheel).
 

The new crossover from the eminent author of the Japanese bestseller has been waiting for more than two years. And for some, the expectation process can stretch until the end of this fall in Russia in line for crossovers are habitual for growing
