I want to write about my Lexus IS250.
The car was purchased in March 2006. Comfort. Prior to this, there was extensive experience in operating good expensive cars: Mercedes E, Infiniti i30, BMW 520, Audi A6, Mitsubishi Pajero III. And now, Lexus.
My experience in operating good foreign cars with a Mercedes began. I liked him, but he was a 3-year-old and maybe that's why I could not be imbued with him. But despite this, he left the trace in my soul. Then he acquired Infiniti, new, black with beige, leather interior and 3 liter engine. This car simply turned my head, it was, as it seemed to me then, impeccable, but the years went and had to change it for something, although it was a pity. I bought a BMW in 39 body, did not like it, and then took A6, an excellent design, and the car is better than BMW, in my opinion. But something is also wrong, after Infiniti, all cars did not give so much pleasure from operation. Then he decided to transfer to the SUV, the 3rd Pajero. I liked it, a good solid salon, a good motor, but in the city its operation causes only a lot of inconvenience, for example with parking, with a crazy fuel consumption (I am an active driver) and in operation is not the cheapest car.
I decided to take the sedan again. He began his choice with BMW 5 series, Audi A6 and Lexus GS - new prestigious models. There was a hope that Audi and BMW this time will make more impressions than their predecessors. But no, Lexus GS caused the most positive emotions. But when I accidentally saw IS250, I just fell in love with this car. After a test drive, and comparisons with competitors decided to take, and the faster the better. Although, I will not hide, there were doubts about the size, I was still used to larger cars.
The line of 7 months was depressing. But O Miracle, on the day of arrival in the car dealership to place an order for this car, the seller said that there is one car in stock, just the color that I wanted to configure comfort. The equipment also completely arranged me because I do not like leather seats. Although, I admit, I wanted to equip sport, there Alcantara was for the place of skin. Well, okay, the seats were quite pleasant.
The first impressions of him were simply fantastic, a bunch of drive, while excellent comfort. The dimensions were very comfortable. For a car with such sled characteristics, they are ideal, for example, in GS or BMW 5-series there is no such feeling of unity with a car with their dimensions. And the salon is quite spacious and most importantly very beautiful. Having traveled on it for about 10 months, I can draw the following conclusions:

Great audio system
Great driving characteristics
Great automatic transmission (6-st)
An economical motor
Very attractive price against competitors

cons of car:
Bad behavior on ice
The buttons of switching the checkpoint and the heating of the wipers are in a very unsubstantiated place, you need to be distracted from the road to find them
There are no large central display in versions for Russia, there is only a duplicate on the instrument shield, which displays only one indicator on the screen
Not very good service for dealers!
