I had a lot of cars (of course, for so many years!) And now it's time to change the next one. The choice of a car is a painful work! You are leafing through magazines, you go through the salons, and there everything is something wrong ...
And suddenly! In one of the automobile TV shows, I saw him! Land Rover Discovery 3 ... handsome! Impeccable design, stylish, balanced. Neither decrease nor add! By profession, I am an artist, so I immediately and unconditionally realized what to take, there is simply no more beautiful! We waited for almost 4 months. The heart was freezing in anticipation. We already loved him, our green. And in the cabin they give me the keys: a happy path!
I conquer - the engine is not heard ... My previous BMW was louder. I turn on the drive, touch. Oh my God! How softly, smoothly, he will start! How excellently his considerable dimensions are felt! What in front, from behind. In the cabin - silence. The husband asks with a whisper: how are you? Not scary? On such a huge one? And I have only delight and happiness pouring into all the veins!
And now 30,000 kilometers happiness does not leave me. The machine is a work of human hands. Human child. She has a soul. The car must be loved. She feels how you treat her.
You don’t trust - you are refusing and breakdowns, you are afraid - here is an unpleasant incident for you, you are angry with it for whims - it will be more capricious!
She has a character. Green loves me. We have reciprocity. Reliably started all the great frosts of last winter, drove anywhere on any road and without it, substituted his unlimited trunk for the most voluminous cargoes. By the way: only in Land Rover Discovery 3 doors are created in such a way that the thresholds always remain clean, no matter how dirty machine. So even white trousers never get dirty!
Leather chairs are very convenient, adjusted to any driver, in winter they heat the fifth point and, prone to radiculitis, lower back. The landing is high, comfortable. I do not get tired at all, despite the fact that trips are usually at least 200 km per day. For a fifty -year -old woman, this is a lot! Climate control works impeccably! The car always has a pleasant atmosphere.
The side glasses, when lowering it, do not create vortices in the cabin, but simply stretch cigarette smoke, like a vacuum cleaner. The headlights helpfully turn after the wheel and crush the cat behind the bend or not notice the pedestrian lurking on the side of the road. Unless on purpose ... You can control the voice with a radio, and do not poke your fingers in the buttons, which, by the way, are very large and conveniently located on the consoles. You can fold it in a few seconds and get a cargo compartment suitable for transporting everything and everything!
Changing the wheels, oddly enough, is easy. I change winter tires for summer and back, without resorting to the help of rough male power. It is only a pity that the standard navigation cannot be used. I hope that this is only yet. Here someone will sign something there and-we will heal! With navigation!
Nothing in my car broke. Nothing was buggy, though in the technical center by force, according to the warranty, the steering shaft was replaced. They said - prescribed. I don’t know ... Nothing worried me in the steering mechanism. And how he is going! He touched the gas a little - and you are on the horizon. 180 goes without tension, and at this speed there is no discomfort! You can, of course, be faster, but the road where you can afford ends too quickly. And how he passes the turns! Like on rails. And the rolls are very small. Much less than, for example, Saab, who simply falls on the side in corners!
How wonderful he pares parallel to the sidewalk! If there is a hole, a little larger than he himself will fit accurately! Even in the Snow Mountain, thrown in the narrow Arbat lane with a diligent janitor. Words there are not to go for him not relevant.
They scared me and fuel consumption. Like, the liters will eat 18-20. But, or I go so neatly, or my green on a diet, but he eats 12l. On the highway and 15l. around the city with traffic jams. And this is with 4.4 liters of a gasoline engine!
Honestly, I was very lucky with the car!
