This was talked about in spring: in Izhevsk, in the squares, where more recently, the mound and strange plots were born, the assembly of Kia was supposed to begin. Rumors were even confirmed by business. A little more than a year ago, the so -called pilot batch of 600 cars was released at the factory and tried to sell them. Everything has changed for the best last fall: in the capital of Udmurtia, the welding and paint workshops were earned. The same optimal (it is called the optimum) modification immediately fell by $ 1630. In other words, the Russian spectrum has become the most profitable golf class sedan in our market. Dealers accept orders with might and main. Moreover, versions with automatic transmission appeared. The most richly equipped car for $ 14,700 we took for acquaintance.

The steering wheel is clearly thin and regulated only in the angle of inclination. Plus a sad-pile-yellow illumination of gleaming devices. To sit higher, unless they are ready to put to the place that lower the back, the grandmother’s pillow will not work. The chairs were also saved on the microlift.

Illusion of flight
It wasn't there. As if somewhere in the bowels of a 4-speed machine, thirty good forces were lost. I, having chosen the machine, teach myself to calm and generosity. And now I have already learned to use the trump cores of the Izhevsk Korean most effectively. I notice how smoothly can switch the machine. The motor at high speeds does not torment: it is noticeably effective, it is still to four thousand. I am glad that at the start of the rise, I do not have to dance immediately on three pedals. If the engine was shocked less on the idle, otherwise it is how he beats Morzyanka with a slightly ajar glass of the driver's door ...
Outside the city, gently swaying that the intercity bus, the spectrum scored its 110 km/h. After all, not according to the rules. I even started to like it. Alas, not for long. At the first denouement, a little faster, entering the turn, almost paid. Kia tilted, waited until the shock absorbers, as if from a large all -terrain vehicle, would choose all their impressive moves, finally began to follow the wheel, but then the tires requested mercy.
You must thank the steering wheel for the fright. The impression is that its transmitted mechanism works in very viscous oil. Yes, and 14-inch tires of amtel-planet-2r are not for gambling drivers. While you are going in a straight line, such a chassis and the steering does not interfere with the laziness. But if in Russia there were only arrow -shaped highways! With each left bee, passengers, as if sailors on a catamaran, are just right to command the left side, with the right, on the contrary. You look, and it will be easier to align the course.
A very true thought
Of course, you can calmly ride no higher than 100110 km/h. And so, for sure, buyers of this kia will do. But the new golf class sedan is cheaper, but with such a comfortable suspension, a spacious salon and a machine gun in Russia, you can’t buy.
Norm or luxury?
The Izhevsk spectrum is sold at five levels of equipment. The cheapest versions are the norm for $ 11,500 in the salons most likely you can’t find it yet. Such should appear closer to the New Year. And do you need such a car? After all, its only good audio training. The standard for $ 12,200 has a power steering, a central lock, electric windows and even a pair of airbags. The optimum by $ 1100 is more expensive and richer for air conditioning, fog lights and heated mirrors. There are versions with automatic transmission. This is premium for $ 14,320 (the same as the optimum, with the exception of heating of mirrors and fog) and luxury. It costs $ 14,700 and attracts the presence of ABS, the heating of the front seats and the telescopic antenna.
