What to prefer to the buyer of the newcomer to the Sandero market or the time -tested Rio?

In particular, on one of the sites we happened to see a dispute on this subject among cactus believers. In general, even botanists argue. We decided not to argue, but it is realistic to see which of the cars is really better. Twenty minutes of calling dealers, and the next day, two hatchbacks in the maximum configuration stood at the meeting site. Both with mechanical gearboxes, both with the most possible motors and both with puddles on the asphalt in the engine area. The unbearable July heat, which covered even the northern regions of our vast Motherland this year, did not allow us to turn off the air conditioners in cars for a minute. Result: condensate with condeevs poured along the asphalt with a river from under both cars. However, the first differences showed here.

To begin with, the air conditioning is installed in Sandero, and in Rio climate control, and even if it is not two-zone, but when electronics are monitoring the optimum temperature in the cabin, it is still more pleasant. And the air conditioner’s work itself on Rio practically does not affect the general noise of the engine, both in the cabin and from the street. It is worth clicking on the corresponding button on the central console in Sandero, like sparrows that are not dried up after yesterday's rain, instantly break off the place. The noise of the radiator fan in such modes is quite strong. In the cabin, wherever it went, but outside the car is noisy, like a rocket progress before the start. It is worth turning off the air conditioner, the grace is again condescending to the world. In general, either the French were rebuilt, or something did not calculate to the end there, but the fact remains: the air conditioner seriously affects the general noise background from the operation of the Sandero engine, and this is not very good.

But in the calculations of the useful volume of the luggage compartment, they succeeded. Like it or not, the 320 liters of the Sandero luggage compartment will always be more than 270 liters of Rio trunk volume. However, the volume of volume, and the convenience of using the trunk itself is also an important item. To begin with, in Sandero, loading height is much higher than Rio. The second moment: it will not be difficult to fix the load in the trunk of Rio, there are appropriate loops in the floor, but Sandero does not have them. And thirdly, despite the fact that the trunk in Rio is smaller, the opening itself is more here. Why Sandero designers artificially made it made at the expense of unreasonably protruding guides of the luggage compartment, for us it remained a mystery. However, Rio trunk is not without flaws. One has only to fold the backs of the second row, as you know that a more flat cargo platform is still obtained in Sandero. And one third that you can not put in favor of the third passenger, still more than the Frenchman, which, however, is understandable, because he is wider.

However, with fully pushed back the front chairs, it is more convenient to sit in Rio. There are special recesses in the backs of the Korean front seats. And unlike exactly the same recesses in Sandero, they have a plastic base. That is, the massage with the knees of the rear passengers neither the driver nor the front passenger in Rio threatens. In Sandero, a long -legged driver or his neighbor will have to be patient. You feel any stirring of a sitting behind literally a liver. But what a grace in both cars in front! There is enough space for the most lanky. In any case, with an increase in 185 cm, the front passenger can be pulled completely. The driver does not feel deprived. That in Sandero, that in Rio it is convenient to get a job at the wheel. Both cars have the same adjustments of the seats and the steering wheel, and therefore they are almost identical in this indicator. The little things are only in ergonomics. And although the Korean has that the Frenchman has almost the same, there is still differences. So, the Korean button at the Korean is in the center of the steering wheel, and the Frenchman at the end of the left steering wheel switch. Or take Sandero's mirrors adjustment. It is located between the seats of the front seats, and at Rio on the driver's door. Little things, of course, but they require a habit.

What you definitely have to get used to is to weightless adhesion pedals, which is on the first, in the second car. Initially, it seems that there is nothing at all at the other end of the cable. Is it correct? Perhaps someone will buy this, but such excessive lightness seemed inappropriate to us.

Sensuality, as they say, disappears, and the clutch pedal is literally intuitive. I thought a little, and either stalled, or rushed from a place with a thunder. In general, strains. The same can be said about the steering amplifier, but, however, only in Rio. For the Korean, he is electric, and therefore excessively light in parking mode and exorbitantly heavy in the route mode. Moreover, at high speed from scratch, it is literally to be folded. He turned and overwhelmed, which means unnecessary movement in the opposite direction to adjust the trajectory. In this case, Sandero is more predicting, however, when parking, that at high speed, the force on the steering wheel is the same, it is moderately heavy. And what about the dynamics? Unfortunately, RIO is supplied to our market with a single engine. This is a 1,4 -lit -row 16 -valve 97 -horsepower power unit. Sandero is more democratic, and as many as three engines are offered to choose from the buyer. But for the money that we voiced at the beginning of the article, Renault boasts a motor with a large volume and greater power. Here we are already talking about 1.6 liters of volume and 102 liters. With.

In Europe, this hatchback appeared two years ago. Moreover, interestingly, there it costs less than the Renault Logan soplatter, on the contrary, we have it on the contrary. Apparently, in this way, the company's marketers are trying to give the car a slightly different status. Unlike Logan, in their opinion, Sandero gravitates to young people than to those who for.

Those two seconds of the difference, which are declared by manufacturers, did not particularly catch our eyes in acceleration. And in other indicators, cars are very similar. Both Sandero and Rio have both their pros and cons. And disputes, so they are disputes so that truth is born in them. We only tried to prioritize and thereby added the oil to the fire.
