Agree, there is a lot of Russian in UAZ, and it perfectly corresponds to a nostalgic mood. I also presented an extreme situation with the need to overcome the terrible off-road to save someone’s life in a completely wild place. As an extreme option. I think that in this case a harmless look of an Indeze would not save, completed a difficult task, climbed and carried, forcing himself to love. Then I would go and bought myself such a car. But in our Moscow, the road seems to be already in order, again, a car industry with a car market will not be trampled on the spot, and today, taking into account their diversity, the Jeep Cherokee choice is not at all obvious.
 
Although, in truth, it is not so bad for the American condo SUV. For me, it’s so good, outwardly. The style of the old Jeep warrior is preserved. The silhouette is okay complicated, proportional. The color is very nothing. However, if the history of Jeep does not know, and to judge the brand only by Grand Cherokee, the assessment may be lower. And let's not forget that the current generation was debuted back in 2001. Veteran already.
 
But the salon gives birth to an unpleasant review. If you formally look at the positions, everything seems to be: skin decoration, audio system, heating the seats, air conditioning ... But at the same time the interior makes a rather miserable impression. The point is in a cheap plastic, which is trimmed with the front panel, doors and some other elements. Under the hood of a 2.8-liter turbodiesel. It is worth buying a car with this power engine and traction that is pleasant for a medium-sized jeep, and it consumes fuel in a child (we succeeded from 12 to 14 liters in a mixed cycle). Together with the diesel engine, a rather quick five -speed automatic is working with a diesel engine. No complaints.
At one time, the new Cherokee struck everyone uncharacteristic for classic crooks JEEP with a supporting body. In front he has a completely independent suspension, and only behind the rudiment remained in the form of a bridge. But without springs. However, according to the Rules of the Road, the rear bridge is not a rudiment, but the necessary attribute of the genre.
 
Jeep Cherokee fully and fully meets the concept of a real SUV. But on the asphalt, he performed quite articulate. Even despite the rolls, an empty and long steering wheel. It accelerates cheerfully, is not lost in the city, and on the highway it unexpectedly split up to 190 km/h along the speedometer. The brakes were also very decent. The trunk is large, but sitting in the second row is inconvenient. There is not enough space, and there’s nothing to seize in a turn. And the seats are flat-fruitful ...

The most budgetary modification of the SUV is estimated at 29 900. This is a machine in the Renegade configuration with a 3.7-liter V6 and a 4-speed automatic. Other versions are more expensive. So, for the gasoline Cherokee Limited (the same motor plus 5-speed automatic transmission), dealers ask for about 33,400. For diesel limited, like what has been on our test, you will have to give the same 33,400.
